    Man, who is Lindsay Lohan to me? No one, I don't care about Lindsay Lohan. She made some okay movies, but it's not like she was some undiscovered Meryl Streep or something.

    AT THE SAME TIME: I would happily take thirty grand to kidnap Michael Lohan and drop him off in some tiny Nepalese village where there's no phone or internet, and promise the villagers ten thousand dollars if they never let him leave. #alecbaldwin

    Dane Cook has so many mixed metaphors going on in his statement that I'm not entirely sure of his point. But as I recall, Mr.Cook had the singular distinction of being in a movie with Jessica Simpson, so maybe he shouldn't be pointing fingers about people doing crappy movies?

    @Hooplehead: I think he was doing it because so many guys were mocking him and his crappy movies - only to come out and make crappy movies themselves, like David Cross. I have never much cared for Dane Cook as a comic, but I have to agree with him on this point. #alecbaldwin

    @telecomic the thoughtful red panda: I get why he's saying it. I simply disagree that someone who's made a career of making any crap movie that came along has a leg to stand on when it comes to criticizing anyone else's choice of projects. He simply has no credibility in this department. Those who live in glass houses should not be so quick to throw stones, and Cook's critics at least have the distinction of having done work that didn't stink to high heaven at one point. Whereas I am at a loss to name a single Cook vehicle that didn't scream "waste of time" to me. #alecbaldwin

    As for Levi buying his baby son hockey gear: my son had his first baseball mitt by the time he was three weeks old, so I get it. It's just something dads (or grandfathers, in our case) do for their sons and grandsons. It's a guy thing.

    He eventually grew into it and used it for years - it was even signed by David Wright. Yum, David Wright... #alecbaldwin

    @gerbilsoutofexile...is cheap and easy: Sure, but why does a "guy thing" have to be about assuming the son will be into 'manly sports culture'? What if his son actually wants to be a ballet dancer, a pianist or a chess player for his leisure activity? There's always something a little too pushy about buying infants sports paraphernalia in my mind, not to mention the sexist aspects, since few men buy these things for their daughters (who very well might grow up to play hockey or soccer or baseball, etc.) #alecbaldwin

    @Hippopotame wants a star, dagnabbit!!!: My husband comes from a long line of rabid Phillies fans; my father-in-law, 70 years old, still plays in a league. And Ian has had a talent for baseball since he was tiny. If he had not wanted to touch his glove (but he did and he's quite talented) and had other interests as well (he plays the trumpet and loves to read), that would have been fine.

    I'm not the greatest commenter here (not even an account) but I do read regularly.

    I don't know why you use "whatshername" and "whatshisname" but it's quite offensive in a feature in which Michael Lohan gets to keep his name while saying awful things about his daughter and the "whatshername" in question is news because her son has been hospitalized.

    If, for whatever reason, that couple is so foul that they don't deserve a name (yet Lohan does?), why report on them at all? I don't understand.

    If I was Lindsay I would be so dead set against rehab now. Because then her dad would be able to gloat about her going. Plus rehab is not some magical anodyne. I think if anything this girl needs therapy to deal with having had her parents.

    Am I reading this right - did Dominic say it is fun to pretend to have OCD? Because if so I think he is doing it wrong. From what I have gathered there is definitely not a stillness and confidence. #dirtbag
