She writes: "As far as I can tell it's about the wonders of the modern age: time-saving appliances and machines for work and home. I was mesmerized by it. And not in an ironic way. I love all the mid-century design and the clean and orderly world it lives in here. It's neat-o. Something about the hopefulness and cheeriness just resonates with me today." She's right: You'll be hypnotized by the joyous, upbeat music and the shiny, colorful household items: A blue floorsweeper! A shimmering silver toaster! A bright orange plastic pitcher!
