"This is a mix sent by a guy we'll call Sam, who was my cheerful indie rocker friend sophomore year of college when I was an impressionable 19-year-old virgin. In winter 2001, after a lengthy flirtation, we drank half a bottle of vodka and fooled around, despite the fact that he had a girlfriend elsewhere, and I tortured myself over it for months.
