    @madeofawesome: Also at work, so I watched without sound.

    Girl addresses camera, holds up toy dog. Says some more stuff to the camera. Backs up to closet door at the far wall, begins to walk forward, closet door falls on top of her and whacks her on the head. She stays down a few minutes before lunging forward to turn off camera.

    @Jack_Burton: Oh god. Our local NBC affiliate ran this footage during their end-of-show "aw, isn't this cute" segment. Everybody was laughing right up until the cop started FUCKING KICKING that cat. Which, of course, they don't show in the clip above.

    @whynotshesaid: Kitty Confession Time! One of my cats once . . . sat on a lit candle. I was working at my computer, with a little jar candle next to me. Kitty jumped up to pursue his usual agenda of standing between me and the monitor (I think he seeks to improve my touch-typing), and sat down, on the candle. He realized it about the same time I did, jumped up, went tearing across the room, his little butt singed black.

    Oh, I laughed. I mean, after I made sure he was okay. But, then. Oh, how I laughed.

    The H-1 is ridiculous, and was my daily nemesis for the 3 years I lived in Honolulu. To be fair, everything that happens on the H-1 grinds traffic to a halt. This includes sunshine. This also includes the section near Ft. Shafter where the speed limit is 35 gawd-damned MPH.
