I love this picture. The kid is adorable. Liv is the object of my incessant girl crush. I am imagining that Clive Owen is taking the picture to complete the trifecta of awesome.
I gotta say as a brunette with a blonde son, I'm glad there are others out there who get the experience of having their kid look nothing like you. My son, and it looks like Liv's too, does share traits with me, same smile and eyes, but at first glance he's my hubby's mini-me.
@Sister Jukebox: When we were little, my brother and I looked nothing like either of our parents. I have thick, straight red hair and my brother for several years had curly, blond hair. My mom at the time, had thin, curly dark brown hair. There were times when my parents said I was the mailman's kid that I thought they weren't joking.
@Sister Jukebox: When my first nanny saw me, she looked from me to my mom, then me to my dad, then back to my mom. She said to my mom, "Honey, no offense, but it looks like your kid popped out of your husband's butt!"
It's a testament to my parents' open-mindedness that the woman got the job.
@Sister Jukebox: Mr. kitty and I are both full asian. Kitty son #1 popped out with dirty blond hair, ROUND brown eyes, and a nose with a high bridge. EVERYBODY in the hospital looked at me sideways. Mr. Kitty joked, "It's the milkman's." Haha, but I'm actually lactose intolerant.
@Sister Jukebox: My mama has naturally sandy-blonde hair and green eyes. I have naturally dark brown hair and blue eyes. She could sympathize. (I have my dad's coloring but all my mom's features)

Isn't Tom Cruise somewhere in the world doing something within range of photographers today?
