    I'm so glad I never returned my Milli Vanilli tape for a refund. That tape has rescued many a boring party.


    Also, that picture reminds me that I just found out from my husband that guys in SoCal used to peg their pants too. Here on the east coast, that style was only for the ladies.

    @hellodarling!: I love Milli Vanilli. Their Behind the Music doc is amazing. It is so sad that guy died.


    Milli Vanilli brings back some seriously fond memories of HS and my quasi boyfriend at the time.

    So, my "boyfriend" in elementary school and I thought that as part of "going together" we were supposed to have Our Song. And because we never actually went on dates and had occassion to have a song playing during some sort of significant experience, we just methodically hashed it out over the phone, initially settling on "Girl You Know It's True."


    Oh yeah.


    (We reversed course at some point and went with "Forever Your Girl.")


    Which means to say that DJ AM's outfit is totes awesome. His companion's is decidedly not.

    @odinsraven: This is even weirder. My "boyfriend" and I wanted to have a song, and he decided it should be "Beth" by Kiss. But he was a child, and not in a band, and my name is nowhere close to Beth. It has baffled me all these years.

    @badmutha: They remind me of a pair of leggings I had when I was about 10- they were leggings designed to look like stonewashed jeans. These look cuffed, as well. Cuffed leggings. I mean, if he had black shoes, perhaps... yeah, no. Still bad.
