    The more Stephanie Meyer quotes I read, the more she scares me.
    Would it be presumptuous to assume Mr. Pattison ought also to be afraid, lest he wake up one morning (or afternoon) covered with sparkles and unable to get away?

    Is this some sort of rite of passage or something? Every time I read Playboy has made that offer, the celeb in question has turned it down.

    @Rooo sez BISH PLZ: It's a common media pr move for upcoming starlets. You say Playboy offered you an outlandish sum of money to pose but you denied it. It usually generates a minor news story, getting your name out there for a day or two. It also sets up that you must be OMG SO HOT and that you are far too classy and successful to need to pose for Playboy.

    In this case, I have no idea who Leona Lewis is and yet I looked her up. So I guess she wins. #angelinajolie

    That is actually very polite of Vivid to ask her first. In my mind she has a tantrum at them and they accidentally release it with all the royalties going to a Vivid subset which isn't technically affiliated with Vivid and disappears when Prejean tries to sue it. Don't tantrum with porn companies.

    @Snowbunny: I thought she was supposed to be 17 when all of this went down. That makes it pretty creepy to me. She's an idiot, but we do have laws. Even if she was 18, I think it's horrible and exploitative to release these images that were made for her boyfriend. She's hypocritical, but that doesn't mean that the world needs to see them. I just hope no one buys her book. #angelinajolie

    @rd2uk: I have to hope (foolishly) that it's pronounced the way it's spelled. I think that if parents spell their kids names strangely, the name should be pronounced as it's spelled. But people don't do that. They really seem to believe that if you spell something funny, it's still the same name. And that's not necessarily the rule.

    For example, Addisynne is not Addison, Serah is not Sarah (although it's darn close), Sha is not Shay, and Courtenay is not Courtney. #angelinajolie

    @rd2uk: Courtenay is actually an extremely WASPy precursor to Courtney. It's not used much in "those circles" anymore, after "Courtney" became so popular and they didn't want to be associated with such a "low-brow" name . . . but at one point it was considered fairly posh. #angelinajolie

    @NellMood: I guess it's one of those "you have to know" situations. Mispronouncing "Courtenay" and "Courtney" isn't all that hard to do, and all this woman had to do was say "Actually, it's Courtenay. We get that all the time" and move on. However, she'd usually unleash a tirade that was usually uneccesary. I'm not insulting her choice of names, but a sense of humor/understanding when mispronunciations happen wouldn't have hurt. I'm Kathleen and I've gotten "Katherine" and "Karen" so much I've learned to answer to those. #angelinajolie

    @Ms Meghan: It is a highly uneven show, but there have been some amazing episodes. The later half of season one is full of dark and delightfully twisted moments, particularly the unaired "Epitaph One".

    At its core, it is a show about free will, what we can do vs. what we should do, corporate greed, human exploitation, and other gray shades of morality. However, it comes off as "what male sexual fantasy is Eliza Dushku going to fulfill this week" which I don't blame you for not finding appealing.

    @Ms Meghan: Wow, try watching the show before you make a dumb generalization without anything to back it up with. It was actually HIGHLY against prostitution. The show was uneven, I'll give you that, but that had nothing to do with it essentially being about human trafficking. It's easy to criticize the show for being a 'what can Dusku dress up as next' but that was hardly the case. The times we actually see her with men, its displayed as perverse, creepy and generally unsettling. The most recent episode that aired addressed a doll who was placed into the dollhouse against her will by a man trying to control her. It was sad, highly fucked up and anything but glamorized. #lindsaylohandad

    2. I find nothing appealing about watching something like Dollhouse, I don't watch Law and Order SVU for the same reason. I have issues watching the sexual exploitation of women, even if it's not real.
