My waist is still fairly small, even years later. I never took it as far as some people do, though.

Dan the Corset Guy would disapprove.

My husband looks great in his man-corsets. Recently he's taken to making them!!! He's working on a pinstripe/vest man's corset. I told him that's all fine and good but he betta make me one too :)

Hell, there are people out there that get off on those pens on chains that they have at the bank.

I like my corset for certain occasions--it's dramatic, it's artsy, it goes with badass club/gothy wear. I don't wear it so tight I can't breathe. I wouldn't try to "train" my waist with it, because that shit is bad for you, but hell, if the lady and the dude like going out in corsets, and they like each other, more power to 'em! I think it's neat.

The 71 year old woman with the world's smallest waist, though, was kind of scary. She said she wanted to get her old figure back a la her wedding photo, but...in that photo, she was wearing a corset. How do you get back a figure you never really had? And I was kind of bothered by her statement about how fashion nowadays involves girls with their stomachs hanging over their pants, but...her tum tum area is quite...well...it looks distended, thanks to the organ-shifting. It's unsettling. But to each their own.

I was also bothered by the getting back the figure thing . . . it turned into an addiction for her or something, and she never stopped and only seems to have now because it may be impossible to get any smaller.
