You guys are just jealous of Bikini Corrie. You're all the reason that she came home from high school every single day and said "Mommy, I don't want to be beautiful anymore!"
I bet all you all jealous bishes are pissed that she went on and earned it. She earned it.
Ugh, I am going to try to forget these people by thinking of all of the poople who came into my life this year and made me happy. First: Barack Obama, Second: All of you here on this site who have made me think, laugh, and who have generally inspired me. Thank you.
I know I'm in the minority, but I don't think John Edwards cheating on his wife makes him this horrible person. He's done alot for this country while the other people on this list have committed horrible crimes (except the bikini girl, I don't know who that is or the stylist...what did she do?)
@AthertonMerriweather: I think it's the whole "cheating on your wife while she's battling cancer thing" that's got people all abuzz. Still, it's not nearly as horrific as forcing your own daughter to be the mother of your children.
Lotsa people cheat...all of the time. The vast majority of relationships have to deal with infidelity at some point: either we cheat or we will be cheated on. So, yea, it's horrible, but it's more of a family issue than a public issue.
@AthertonMerriweather: See, I think the fact that cheating is common-place now is what makes people so desensitized to it. I think cheating IS a horrible crime and I just can't stick up for it. I hate that people are all "well, most people have to deal with cheating now anyways". It's such a lame-ass excuse and generalizes so many peoples pain. John Edwars cheating on his wife isn't in the same category as Josef Fritzl, but it certainly devastated many, many lives.
@lovecake: if John Edwards were a private citizen, or even just a former senator, it would be of less interest. But he was a presidential candidate; his wife was a beloved figure in Democratic politics and their youngest children, whom they often brought out at political events, were below the age of 10.
Cheating, in this case, wasn't just between John, the wife and the GF. There's a political party and a family involved, too.
@Mkp-hearts-NYC: It is more than a little ironic that the man's name is pronounced "Made off". As in, "all these people lost a shitload and Madoff just made off like the Devil."
@sarah.of.a.lesser.god (and the ovumlord of the rings): No kidding. I am laughing so hard because he is so hideous, I'm better off laughing at everyone's comments about him. Actually thinking about him makes me want to bathe in vinegar and Borax.

IMHO, one must do more than produce offspring to earn that title, and he clearly does not.

I think it comes from my 'OMG, this story is so horrific, so grotesque, so completely insane, I don't even know what to do with myself.'
Yeah, never seeing his face again would be A-OK with me.
