What took mcg (or whatever his name is) so long to stand up for his actor. He let Bale get dragged over the coals for the sake of a good opening weekend. Asshole.
One of these things is not like the other one. Chris Brown assaults Rhianna and is publicly vilified and now being sued by some pathetic pap. Keifer Sutherland assaults a stranger to the point that said strange needs surgery, and he's still good old Jack Bauer. I need a little enlightenment.
I think the real reason why TR Knight isn't coming back to Grey's is that his character currently doesn't have much of a face or use of his hands. Kind of makes it hard to be a surgeon. (That and his storylines did really suck)
Can we talk about the logistical folly of casting Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in the same picture? They'll have to do some fancy camera maneuvers if they ever want to get both their heads in the same shot. Or put her in a wheelchair or something, because she's got at least 4 feet on him.
@missdona: Is he really a "star" though? He's more like a "castmember" or "lead actor" to me. Definitely not a star. He's creeped me out since his AI days.
@femaledwightschrute: He was in the Wedding Singer, and he's actually Tony nominated for Rock of Ages. I think it's a loose interpretation of "star" though.
But you notice that you didn't say you felt you were to blame until after the movie opened. Nice. Still, I've said it before and I'll probably say it again when another actor's rant comes out: tensions run really really high on sets be it film or theater. A production is everyone's baby, think about hundreds of people all feeling overly protective over their element of a show/film... yeah. Nothing excuses unprofessional behavior, but I've seen stuff like this a hundred times working in theater. Usually it blows over within twenty minutes, but everybody's gotta vent.
i hope the snl writers read the part about jill zarin trying to be interviewed on "inside the ACTORS studio". oh, the possibilities are endless, y'all.
@rednrowdy: That would be HILARIOUS. That item made me laugh out loud just picturing her trying to strong-arm her way onto the set, and James Lipton having to tell her "no, my dear, this is for actors," in that mellifluous voice.
So Eminem has the best selling album of the year thus far, Kid Rock has a hit song, and Marilyn Manson has a new album out. If Fred Durst comes back, I'm going to boycott life. Seriously.
@bluebears: Yeah I thought the comment was a little glib as well - I dont know if she actually met anyone in prison but even if there was some guy in there for a looooot of parking tickets hes not sharing a cell and an ice cream with someone who raped 58 people - hes just not.
@bluebears: @little_engine_that_could: But aren't you both assuming she's talking about an American prison? Maybe it's different in France, or the UK, or wherever she was?
@bluebears: Actually, I went to jail for twelve hours for a parking ticket and would venture to say you have less rights than when you go to prison. No books or magazines, no outside time, very limited visiting. It was extremely strict and absolutely terrible and terrifying. I think the idea is that you are in jail such a short amount of time,1-6 months, as compared to being in prison, where you are there for years, that they can afford to be more strict. IDK, the whole thing was very odd.

Queue someone in my family telling me to stalk Prince Harry when he arrives in NYC. For reasons unbeknownst to me, my family seems to be keen on conducting some science experiments with me and fellow redheads by getting us to mate and see what we produce. I, unfortunately for them, don't really find redhead men particularly attractive.

The fabrics at Zarin's are fabulous. I just redecorated Heaven in a bold chintz and I love it! Bobbie and Jill are the best.

And I didn't think Justin's comment was at all inappropriate. It's really rare to hear an actor that excited about his or her own work.
