    At least it's making a cultural reference. "Figaro" was almost my new kitty's name: though since the black and white cat from Pinnochio is ALSO named Figaro, I named him something else. #marriageoffigaro

    Sneakers are really an underrated style of bridal wear. Honestly you're going to be on your feet a lot and if you have a long dress why not cheat?

    Of course there's the odd fascination with shoe photos, but you can always stage those and make people think you were wearing something to better match the dress. #marriageoffigaro

    @rmric0.wedding.photographer.and.manny: A friend of mine actually wore sneakers to her wedding for that very reason: who would know and she was going to be standing a lot? Makes sense to me! #marriageoffigaro

    @rmric0.wedding.photographer.and.manny: I had a really comfortable pair of blue ballet flats, that I now wear at work.

    I had a surprise the other way: at least half a dozen people, including my dad, all independently assumed I'd be wearing my blue chucks under my wedding dress and were surprised to find out I was not!

    But we don't have a shoe photo anyway. We do have a picture of my ginormous feet sticking out awkwardly at the end of my super-pasty legs as I ended up going down the slide in my wedding dress, though. #marriageoffigaro
