@Diziet_Sma: I haven't seen it as I'd heard it was pretty bad. But if there is nude Mark Ruffalo maybe I should reconsider...He is awesome in "You can count on me".
@cuteasabutton: I think it's pretty good. Most erotic sex scene in a film, ever, for my money - directed by a woman, natch. And you know, it's not even about him being nude (can't even remember if he is); it's his voice and what he say and does to her that is so sexy. It's definitely entertaining - you won't be bored. And it has Kevin Bacon! The ending's a bit lame is all.
@anastasia beaverhousen: "You want me to romance you, take you to a classy restaurant, no problem. You want me to be your best friend, no problem. I can be whatever you want me to be."
@cuteasabutton:
There is nude Ruffalo, and you can see everything if, you know, you carefully pause and rewind, and pause and rewind. Not that I did that or anything.
For some reason, the names Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro blended together in my mind and I read that as 'Sean Penn met with Che Guevara,' which I'm pretty sure is not possible. I need to eat breakfast.
For a celebrity who can't shut up about politics and social issues, I find it really odd that Susan Sarandon who have someone kicked out of an event for asking for a few words on a major speech. I can only hope that the blogger was being really rude and pushy and not that he dared interrupt Susan mid-quiche during this momentous day for celebrities and their parties.
@Triphena: seriously I don't given that this is the woman who wants to close St Vincent's Hospital in the West Village because it is an 'architechtural eyesore' ignoring the fact that it's a bloody hospital its job is to save people, not to look pretty.
Tim Robbins quote was even worse 'I wouldn't take my children there unless they were dying'. Really Tim well my daughter was born there and its the best treatment I've had in a hospital but I can't help wondering if you object to the number of medicare patients treated there and the occasional gang member waiting to see his new child because I can't fault the doctors and nurses and as you've not been treated there by your own admission I'm not sure how you can either.
@emilyanne: oh god. I hadn't heard that lovely little story. honestly I have no problem with celebs talking politcs, they have just as much right as anyone, its just that these two seem particularly divorced from reality. like when tim robbins went off on that poor pol worker because he hadn't noticed they changed his polling place. it was probably some sweet little old lady volunteering her time.
I normally dislike Sean Penn, but really enjoyed Milk... His political activism is bullshit though. I think some other Jezzies also wish Sean Penn would STFU... Remember this? [jezebel.com]
@LaFemme: Milk was a capable movie--naked Oscar grab/prestige flick, which seems to be all SP is capable of anymore. I normally don't shit my pants over Sean Penn but I thought his performance was stellar. Nevertheless, I loved the movie because the cause is so near and dear to my heart that I just cried through a lot of it.
His politics are just annoying--he seems so entitled to make political commentary it's ridiculous.

Isn't that kinda like going on American Idol, getting a negative review and saying "But my mom and friends say I'm really good!"?
