I always thought Debra Wilson from MadTV did a wonderful job of imitating the Oprah yell.
Also, the amount of hairstyles she's had is astounding. Recently I had someone ask me why I can wear my hair in like, 4 different styles in a single week and I just said, there's a lot of versatility with "black" hair. Oprah is evidence of that.
I totally bit Oprah's style and whenever I run into friends or they call me on the phone, I'll be like, "OH MY GOD, IT'S JAAAAAAAANEE DOOOOOOOOOOEEEE! AND JOOOOOHNNN SMIIIIIIIITH!!"
Awesome compilation!
Though, wifers and I were watching the Palin episode last night and I noted how her intro was not anything like above.. it was the most anticlimactic intro she's ever done save for the James Frey schooling...
Oh man, my super secret daydream of one day doing something really remarkable and getting invited on Oprah and introduced in that long, drawn-out-vowels way while a bunch of well-dressed middle class Americans smile and clap is fading away. This hurts.
@yvanehtnioj: I personally daydream of Oprah interrupting me during my story of how I lost my prosthetic limb in a fire that erupted at the orphanage I grew up in to tell the audience about that one time her dog Gracie started a fire and how darned adorable it was.
I stopped following Rose McGowan when she tweeted about how horrible red light cameras are and she needed a way to hide her license plate from them. Because running red lights is so cool? #kirstiealleytwitter
@Ms Meghan: I should really find the study, but I've heard that the red light cameras cause more accidents than preventing them and are really about the money. Not entirely sure it's true, but makes sense to me. #kirstiealleytwitter
@cailizma: Fair enough, but the cameras take your picture when you run red lights, which means you are trying to avoid the camera because you are running red lights. #kirstiealleytwitter
@cailizma: Ditto on the "really should find the study," but I think the results were that the cameras caused more accidents, but less deaths. There were more fender-benders as people hit the brakes trying to avoid running the lights, but less t-bone collisions where cars running the lights got hit from the side. I guess getting hit from the side by an accelerating car is more deadly than getting hit from the back by a slowing car. Anyway, they're probably still mostly for money. #kirstiealleytwitter
I'm impressed Demi was driving a 5 y/o car. Not that that's really old, but in my mind stars throw away their Bentleys at the end of the week because they have fingerprints on the door handles. #kirstiealleytwitter
