I want those shoes. And I don't think I'm the only grownuppish person reading here who does. Somebody call NB.

The Charlie Brown sneakers make me thrilled to the bone that I have stubby little feet. Can I rock some sexy stilettos? No, but the Charlie Browns are somewhat of a consolation prize.

I think if anyone can rock the shiny leggings, it's children. Children can get away with a lot of stuff that adults can't. Crocs, for example.

Once again I just have to ask who is buying this crap? I've never seen anyone walking around in a lime-green leotard with a tiny little T-shirt over it. And their clothes don't look good on a size anything. Not that I've seen anyone in said clothes besides their weird looking models. And don't get all in my face, they probably look great in the real world but they photograph, light, and paint their freaky models to look like half-witted heroin addicts. I'm assuming. I suppose they really could be intellectually-challenged anorexic drug-addicts, but I doubt it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't AA traffic almost exclusively in shiny knitwear that only looks good on size -0000s? It's not like they're the most versatile of retailers, or anything.

@Hooplehead: yeah, i don't get the obsession with the fact that AA makes its clothing in smaller sizes. it seems to be almost entirely directed at AA too -- i mean you don't get daily articles about how forever 21 only works on similarly sized women. i don't see the big deal here.

FWIW: I went to school with Mia's kids... and while Woody certainly has his issues, Mia's fucking NUTS, OK? The whole situation was weird and fucked up for sure, but Mia had her role in raising SoonYi and wasn't the best parent in the world... or even on the block.

SoonYi and Woody have been together for close to 15 or 20 years now, and have kids together and stuff. It's obviously a solid relationship despite it's odd beginnings. Get over it, people.

@nex0s: I would never dream of getting involved with a girlfriend's ex. So marrying your mother's ex lover and the father of your brother (even though no blood affinity) just strikes me as being a very spiteful thing to do. And no, I don't blame it all on the mother for Soon Yi's behaviour. And I take with a pinch of salt third hand descriptions of other people's parenting skills, having heard too many friends' and colleagues putting the boot into their own parents to take it seriously other than in exceptional cases. Woody Allen showed a complete lack of judgment and ethics by having a sexual relationship with Soon Yi. It showed what an utter and contemptible sleazeball he was. You would think that makes him the perfect figurehead for American Apparel

@Rare Affinity: agreed. even if Mia is a total nutjob (she might be, I wouldn't be shocked) how does that excuse what he did? If anything it makes the situation worse, because she was clearly desperate to escape an unhappy household and turned to him. Instead of being an adult and helping her, he fucked her.
