"Becoming a DJ" and "Launching a celebrity fashion line" and "Shopping a reality show" and "Writing a tell-all book" are all euphamisms for "This Person Doesn't Have Any Real Talent."
Ah, the celebrity DJ. Thousands of dollars for smoking and playing tunes off an ipod or mac book for 90 minutes. Did the Times think to ask him what the difference between 33 1/3 and 45 rpm is?
@queenjulie: Mmm.. it's not stupid. Jesus is a very common name in Spanish and Portuguese, and that's the right way to pronounce it in those languages.
@tonilost: Ah, my bad. I've known lots of Jesuses, but they were all from Mexico. And seeing as it's one of the three things Dodai picked out to note in this post, apparently I'm not the only one who doesn't speak Portugese here.
@queenjulie: I know, but it's tiring when Americans think all of South America speaks Spanish. It isnt a common name for a Brasiliero or a Portuguese tho, that's for sure.
I know I am venturing into cute shoes territory, but will someone please tell me what words I can say to my hairstylist to walk out of the salon with hair like that. I always feel awkward bringing in a picture. #madonnajesusluz

And here I am writing about electronic dance music for magazines and hoping, hoping that I'll get a $200 check one of these days. No, I'm not bitter.
