An Open Letter To Archie Andrews From Dylan McKay |

It's all a publicity thing I'm not jazzed about. Archie hasn't any sustained commitment to either girl, why should we root for either in a horribly mistaken high-school marriage? But I'll bet it'll be Betty. I too have love for selfish, tempestuous rich Veronica , but in American morality tales and endless Hollywood movies it's the nice humble girl who prevails.
Oh and Jughead is a beatnik stoner, a sweet passive guy, who's baked, all the time.

Also, hortense, I love this article more than I can properly express, but I have a quibble with you, too: Dylan and Brandon NEVER ran their fingers through their hair. They were no more able to do that than the average Ken doll, as every strand was shellacked into place with a force stronger than that which holds atoms together. The show's stylist must have bought Dippity-Do in 55-gallon drums. I remember one scene in the Brandon+Kelly era where the two of them are standing near the ocean: Kelly's hair is whipping around with enough force to put an eye out, and Brandon's doesn't even budge. It was remarkable.

As much as I'd love to see Betty happy, I just don't think Archie can do that for her. I'm hoping he asks Veronica and then ditches her at the last minute for Cheryl Blossom while Betty and Jughead find happiness.
Dramz, Archie needs it.

Archie = Nate.
Reginald = Chuck Bass.
Betty = Serena.
Veronica = Blair.
Jughead = Dan.

It's peculiar the things we remember.
It's even more peculiar the things we share on blogs.
