Eye Candy: The Hottest Pictures From GQ's "Men Of The Year" Issue

Looky here! Jon Hamm on the cover of GQ. Actually, there are a few different covers, including one with Barack Obama… So many men, so little time! Inside the magazine? Lots and lots of dapper dudes, plenty of sweet, sweet man candy. Although many "Men Of The Year" were accomplished gentlemen who deserve applause, we skipped luminaries like General David Petraeus and Senator Edward Kennedy. Instead, you'll find pictures of Barack Obama, James Franco, Michael Phelps, Leonardo DiCaprio and, yes, Jon Hamm, after the jump. Hold on to your ovaries!

Mad Men-Era Video Is Modern, Mesmerizing

A reader sent us this clip, called, simply, 1958. She writes: "As far as I can tell it's about the wonders of the modern age: time-saving appliances and machines for work and home. I was mesmerized by it. And not in an ironic way. I love all the mid-century design and the clean and orderly world it lives in here. It's neat-o. Something about the hopefulness and cheeriness just resonates with me today." She's right: You'll be hypnotized by the joyous, upbeat music and the shiny, colorful household items: A blue floorsweeper! A shimmering silver toaster! A bright orange plastic pitcher! Even if you shirk all domestic duties, you'll find this video oddly soothing and refreshing. Clip at left.
