    @Everything MidnightBikeRide does is a balloon.: When I went there the other night looking for left over Halloween candy some of her stuff was pretty cute. I think Wal-Mart is just trying to get on Target's game with their cheapie designer stuff.

    That being said I went on Nov 1st at 7pm and the Halloween candy had ALREADY been replaced by X-mas candy. WTF.

    If they want me to get so fat that I have to buy a new wardrobe they need to give me some discount candy.

    @Lizard in the Wires now with even MORE metal in the face!: Target has been really disappointing in their celeb/designer lines lately. The McQueen one was lame and the Anna Sui was sooooo expensive. I still have some stuff from the Proenza Schouler and Behnaz Sarafpour collections (several years old now) that I wear all the time, but the newer stuff has been MAJOR LAMESAUCE. I'm holding out hope for the Rodarte line. #mileycyrus

    @Lizard in the Wires now with even MORE metal in the face!: Yeah, definitely. That whole Gossip Girl thing was so stupid. There was maybe one dress I liked, but the rest just looked too trendy, and it was all like $50-60! Way too much for Target.

    Mizrahi is totally gone! I think his last collection was earlier this year? I really miss his stuff. Target is usually crap when it comes to shoes, but his were actually great.

    I think Mossimo or whatever the Target brand is has been stepping it up lately, so we have one small thing to be thankful for, lol. #mileycyrus

    @girlscoutcookie is back from hiatus: I hold an annual celebration on the date I found a purple silk Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti dress at Filene's for $112. I get the dress out, twirl it around in front of my mirror, sing it Happy Birthday, and then we have cake.

    OMG I remember Bata shoes. I wore them in primary school. I went to a catholic school where the uniform was bottle green dress with 2 brown stripes and we had to wear brown socks with plain brown leather lace-ups. Fashionable, it was not. #mileycyrus

    I just watched this episode last night, and it was so emotional, yet still so loving and entertaining. My favorite changes every week. First it was Nina Flowers with all her fabulous glam-punk androgyny, then Bebe with her genteel-showgirl positivity, then Ongina, a whimsical, sprightly princess with the strength of a queen.


    Gawd, I don't want this show to end, I want it on every week in perpetuity.

    @hvnlysmile: I give the girl a lot of credit. And as someone living with the diease I can tell you that I myself still get choked up every time I read about companies giving to AIDS research (Particularly MAC. I go to Broadway Bares every year, and every year I cry like a baby when they hand over those insanely big checks). Because it means that someone out there cares if you live or die. Because it means you're not alone, and that someone wants to make sure you have options other than ridiculously expensive prescriptions or the grave.
    Badge of Honor? No.
    Call it Badge of Courage.
    Bravo Ongina. Right there with you.

    I watch this show every week for it's over-the-topness. When I first saw Ongina I thought she was an odd duck but as the show progressed I really grew to be on Team Ongina although I'm still pulling for fellow Boriqua Nina Flowers. Ongina is funny,sweet and all around a great personality. Last night's show really touched me. I have to admit that Rebecca Glasscock's "My friend's dying" bullshit didn't fly with me either. Ongina is really fighting with the disease and can still manage to pull it together. I agree with Ru,That IS Viva Glam!
