    Dear SJP - It IS hard to get work done when somebody is disrupting your normal routine. For example, when I have to add 40 minutes to my commute because Los Angeles streets are shut down for filming and premieres, I am quite literally driven crazy. Thanks for understanding.

    It is interesting to me to see who HASN'T signed the petition. One of the Cohen brothers did, but not the other. Monica Belluci signed but not her husband, Vincent Cassel. Sam Mendes did, but not Kate Winslet. I wonder if they talk about it.

    I know Woody Harrelson's a fan of the ganj, but seriously? 28 Days Later and I Am Legend (which barely even counts) are the only good zombie movies he can think of? What about Dawn of the Dead (both versions)? Re-Animator? Dead Alive? Shaun of the Dead?

    @Superawesomerad: I'm still in awe at how they managed to turn a vampire book into a zombie movie. In any case, the film kind of... sucked. Dawn of The Dead is amazing. And REC, while not 100% zombies, is still very zombie-ish and should never be ignored!

    If Johnny Depp's or Meryl Streep's name winds up on that list I think I will actually cry. I don't know what I will do if Jodie Foster puts her name on it.
    But heykoukla is right, it is silly to get upset because we don't know these celebs but we love them for their art and the things they say in interviews. We know nothing about their personal beliefs (especially about rape), but at least we are seeing that now.

    @HeatherNumber1: i'm not sure of her full intent, but this might be precisely who why she is saying this.she knows women who, probably, also know spielberg, loren, strasberg, etc., but who complain instead of do.
    obviously sexism crosses class, but the sexism some women face trying to keep their careers moving is far greater and more complicated by class than the women she is likely referring to.
