Well, I say that she has the right idea.
If you are wearing foil on your damn head all the time, you might as well get your hair bleached at the same time!
I have a theory, I think that Ms. Taitz is one of those I-lived thru-Communism-and-it-was- horrible, therefore, she has an absolute fear/mistrust of every left-leaning political party. I have noticed this behavior/ idealogy of people who have lived in Communist countries, often , they fear, fear I tell you anything that seems to to suggest a hint of what they perceive as socialism.
But, excuse me, Ms. Carter ( who I so do love..usually..) comment that Ms. Taitz was born in Russia so there...( Ms. Carter then rolls her eyes) ...um..and..what
does that mean? She is not allowed an opinion ( however absolutely crazy that so -called pseudo-informed opinion is!!)
Orly is obvs nutso and should be dismissed out of hand. Did anyone notice, however, that the Republican "strategist" didn't really do that? Instead, she made some blathery comment about how this is a "serious issue" but that it's "not going anywhere." That kind of insidious support keeps the birther movement going.

As Joy pointed out, "Dr. Orly Taitz Esquire" was just fined $20,000 by federal judge Clay Land for filing frivolous lawsuits. Land said, "The absolute absence of any legitimate legal argument, combined with the political diatribe in her motions, demonstrates that Ms. Taitz' purpose is to advance a political agenda and not to pursue a legitimate legal cause of action.
Ironic considering the Right's views on frivolous lawsuits and using the judiciary system for activism.
@mama_t: @bluebears: It's just for cheap ratings. A stunt. This is why I so put off by the media now -- news is completely enmeshed with entertainment. It's not about truth, it's not about veracity, it's not about facts, it's not about what matters -- it's about what gets ratings.
If both parents have to be citizens at the time the person is born, then none of the founding fathers qualified to be president since there parents were all British citizens. It is lunacy to thing that the founding fathers wrote a constitution that would bar every single person in the nation from becoming president for the first 35 years of the country's existence (when the first child born to US citizens would have been eligible to run). It would also make Martin Van Buren our first legitimate president!
"The grandfather provision of the "natural born Citizen" clause provides an exception to the "natural born" requirement for those persons who were citizens at the time of the adoption of the Constitution, but had been born as British subjects before the American Revolution (or were born after the Revolution, but before 1787)."
@archipelagic: C.A.A. is one of the few presidents I can identify from a photo, because of his funny facial hair. I think that was in a song? Something. Anyway. I'll be leaving now so you can be all relevant and stuff. :)
@sarrible: Right before I read your comment, I was thinking, "Send her back to Israel" but I wasn't actually going to write it. Well you know what, she should be sent back to Israel. It's a much smaller country than the US so it will be much easier for me to find her (during the next time I'm there, probably within the next year) and scream at her. In Hebrew.
@EkaterinaBallerina: I just went to Wiki to check things out because I could have sworn I heard a hint of an Israeli accent. She lived in Israel for 5+ years. 5+ because she lived there for 5 before meeting her now husband but didn't leave 'till he proposed and I don't know how long that took. Anyway, I wrote that I would scream at her in Hebrew for a couple reasons. One, what PrisonBreakShaker said and two, so she can't write me off by saying, "Stupid American!". I'll yell in Hebrew or I'll even learn to speak Moldovan and yell at her in that. Whatever it takes to make her get some sense into that thick skull. Anyone want to come to Cali with me and track her down?! ;)
@frozengrapes: Yeah, while I get what people are saying who just want her to go away, I think she is a great representative of how totally ridiculous the birther "movement" is.
@Maritsa: Hahaha, I just went to Taft's website. They have a banner ad congratulating their graduates who passed the "General Bar Exam" during the last TWO administrations. All seven of them. Quite the impressive degree you've got there, birther lady.
