    thank GOD someone else noticed the whole "hey-we're-talking-about-birth-control-pills-at-a-NIGHTCLUB" bullshit. it's right up there with talking about douching with your mom on the beach...that dreaded 'not so fresh' feeling.

    I love my TV-free home and also love that watching Sarah Haskins keeps me up to date on the absurdity of TV ads. She's the best.


    I think what's worse than the commercials themselves is how these commercials actually create these conversations in real life among some women.

    I saw them filming one of those ridiculous shopping commercials on Michigan Ave a few weeks back. Waiting in traffic on the bus would have been way funner if it had been Sarah's version.

    It's like I formed this segment in my head over the last few weeks and then Sarah just played it out before my eyes.


    "Sisterhood of shoe lovers" These commercials annoy me. Yes, I love shoes. My girlfriends love shoes. But I don't pick up my blackberry at work to email said friends about the fantastic shoe deals I just got.


    I will email them about Jezebel articles however...

    I HATE that DSW commercial. The music is so OBVIOUSLY trying to sound exactly like the SATC music, AND I don't think I'd be WHISPERING in ears if I was giving advice to people on where to buy shoes.
