    @Miss. Money-Sterling: yes, it's damned disturbing. I think, however, his life was a foil for the excesses and cultural insanity of the time. Man was totally.out.of.his.mind. But then, so was everyone else. Remember: Versailles had no bathrooms! (ew.)
