The internet is all abuzz over the announcement that 36-year-old Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams will play Lois Lane in Zach Snyder's upcoming "Superman: Man of Steel" movie, due to her nine-year age difference from co-star Henry Cavill.

The "big, giant search" for Lois Lane has ended with Amy Adams. Adams, who is not Isla Fisher, has been tapped to play Superman's lady love in the upcoming reboot of Superman opposite Henry Cavill. The movie will be released in 2012, and then the world will end.

Joan A. Stanton, the radio actress who as Joan Alexander was the voice of Lois Lane on hundreds of episodes of "The Adventures of Superman," has died at 94. Stanton, who lived in New York, also voiced Perry Mason's girl Friday, Della Street. [NYT]
