In February of 2001, an ex-model, stylist, and fashion writer named Carine Roitfeld released her first issue as editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris. Today, she announced her resignation. In the intervening decade, she made French Vogue a creative powerhouse. [NSFW]

To fête its 90th year, Vogue Paris has published a gallery of 50 of its covers. We've always dug Filippa Hamilton's and Liya Kebede's, both from 2002, but now Andy Warhol's portrait of Caroline de Monaco might be our favorite.

• Etsy isn't the full extent of Christina Hendricks' modeling — she is the new face of London Fog. Previously, the company's campaigns have featured Tony Parker and Eva Longoria, and Gisele Bündchen, whose pregnancy the company Photoshopped out. [NYDN]

• Lady Gaga, who was supposed to wear Prada to the Met last night, never walked the red carpet — and then performed in a sparkly catsuit nearly identical to the one she wore under her Grammy Awards dress. [The Cut]

• The inquest into Alexander McQueen's death has revealed that before he hanged himself, the designer took a lethal quantity of cocaine, as well as tranquilizers and sleeping pills. He also slit his wrists. He left a note, which read:

• Beth Ditto is designing another Evans collection. Last time the singer held fast to the 80s, with sometimes mixed results, but the range that will hit stores in September counts everything from Victoriana to "Noughties body-con" as an influence. [Telegraph]
