While filling in for Regis this morning on Live With Regis and Kelly, Anderson Cooper took a few shots at co-host Kelly Ripa and nearly walked into yet another celebrity feud.

After informing Kelly that he did, in fact, interview the President two week ago, AC rubbed salt in the wound by informing her that Obama "has no idea who you are." Kelly got him back though, by revealing that Anderson is shamefully behind on his reality TV viewing. Then Anderson started mocking The Celebrity Apprentice but stopped himself, perhaps realizing that Andrew Dice Clay hits a lot harder than Ali Lohan. Clip at left.

One of the best things about Anderson Cooper is that he anchors a two-hour news broadcast every night, and yet seems to watch as much reality TV as the rest of us. Anderson filled in for Regis today on Live With Regis and Kelly and unveiled his latest D-list celebrity impersonations, Dina Lohan and the "leathah" woman from Project Runway (as seen in the clip above). Anderson theorizes that the "atrocious" Living Lohan is only on the air because, "I guess people are hoping that maybe this other person, Lindsay, is going to show up, but until then we're stuck with these horrific people." Oh, Anderson. That's exactly how I feel about Regis and Kelly every morning that you're not there!

Oh, Anderson Cooper. Why do you insist on playing up the “serious newsman” shtick? It’s so clear that your true calling is feigning interest in Kelly Ripa’s children and providing relief from the otherwise insufferable world of morning TV. AC filled in for Regis this morning on Live! With Regis and Kelly, and somehow made a story about going to the dentist for the first time in five years charming rather than gross (probably because he said he loves “getting stoned” on nitrous oxide). In the clip above, Kelly accuses Anderson of being “so straight,” a claim he refutes with a simulated hair flip and Cher impression.

Gwyneth Paltrow continued her talk tour to hype Iron Man by hitting up Live! With Regis and Kelly this morning. Only, again, she did less talking about the movie and more talking about her kids, Moses and Apple. Moses, you see, has a funny accent, which Gwyneth eagerly imitates. And Apple? Well, she loves pinatas, which are very hard to come by in England. And Regis? Well, he seems to be mocking Gwyneth for just how hard her life is the entire time. Clip above.

With Regis And Kelly, Regis shared the story of 13-year old Andrew Dahl, who is trying to get into the Guinness Book of World Records for inflating a record-amount of balloons with his nose. Regis then launched into a long rambling diatribes on the merits and problems of the Neti Pot, which apparently he is using to try to help his allergies, before whipping out balloons for both himself and Kelly to inflate. 1) Do Neti Pots actually do anything? 2) I never want to see anyone inflate a balloon with his or her nose ever again. Newly crowned Miss USA Crystle Stewart dropped by Live! With Regis and Kelly this morning to discuss her win on Friday night and the way she tried to teach the other contestants about dedication and perseverance. Stewart says she also tries to spread the message of female empowerment to young girls through a business involving themed children's birthday parties. I'm not exactly sure how "Pageant Parties" and "Supermodel Parties" teach girls to love themselves and believe in who they are — especially since, as Stewart says, the Pageant Parties always end in tears — but whatever. This morning, CNN's Anderson Cooper sat in for Regis Philbin on Live! With Regis and Kelly and during the host chat, Anderson confessed to Kelly Ripa his deep love for American Idol and his obsession with Paula Abdul. And then Kelly and Anderson compared their respective Paula impersonations. (And people wonder if Anderson's gay!) Later in the program, he told Kelly that he thinks Ryan Seacrest is "very talented" — without even a hint of irony in his voice. Game, set, match. Clip begins above.

This morning, the final quartet of designers from Project Runway season 4 — Christian Siriano, Jillian Lewis, Rami Kashou, and Chris March — dropped by Live with Regis and Kelly for a little chat, as Heidi would say. Sadly, what should have been a light and buoyant interview came across as, well, somewhat underminer-y: In no time at all, Kelly implied that Christian was a copycat and Regis told Jillian that "everyone" thought she should have won the candy challenge (Rami, that challenge's winner, sat quietly to the side). Oh, and don't worry, though it's not in this clip, rest assured that when Regis introduced Rami, he noted that he was from Jerusalem.
