Sports Illustrated Kids has named baseball phenom Mo'Ne Davis as its "SportsKid of the Year 2014." The honor and accompanying cover story rounds out what I can confidently say has been the best year of the eight grader's life.
Little League phenom Mo'ne Davis has a book on the way entitled Mo'ne Davis: Remember My Name. Hitting shelves just in time for 2015's baseball season, the 13-year-old athlete is also starring in a car commercial directed by Spike Lee, who named his own daughter after the famous black baseball player, Satchel Paige.
Mo'ne Davis, Uzo Aduba, Debbie Harry, Chloe Sevigny, Christy Turlington Burns and more posed for Harper's Bazaar's Women Who Dare series. While the photos are lovely, I'm just thrilled to see Mo'ne any and everywhere. Baseball for everyone!
Mo'ne Davis, Sports Illustrated-anointed Little League star, unfortunately couldn't make it out of the third inning in her game last night. She remains better at baseball than 99.9 percent of Americans.
Baseball badass Mo'ne Davis will appear on the cover of this week's national Sports Illustrated. She's the first Little Leaguer to bag the honor.
