    I went out early before work and was pleased to only have to wait 5-10 minutes around 7 am (I'm in Connecticut, so that helped). But I wouldn't have minded waiting as long as I had to.

    I went in and there were only 5 other people. I had to use an electronic machine and i didn't even get a sticker :(

    it took FIVE minutes in the French Quarter - PLEASE, New Orleans Jezzies - Go out there and do it!!! Polling place at Royal and St. Phillip was like the Dead Zone at noon - i'm hoping that means that my unemployed self was able to vote at a non-peak time or something, and NOT that we aren't getting out there!!

    I just voted! My polling place (a fire house) didn't have any stickers, but when the hot firemen walked in I was satisfied.

    Oh yay my picture made it! We had no wait in Madison, WI but when I got there I was voter number 735. I'd say thats not bad for 3 hours of voting, especially given how many peeps voted early. We also have same day registration so there were quite a few people registering at the polling place.


    My sister and I brought our daughters to vote and took pictures so that when they get older they will know they were part of such an important election, even if they were too young to remember:)

    I voted today and then it started to snow. It was packed but organized and I got in and out in 15 minutes - I am in Moscow, Idaho, middle of nowhere USA. My vote cancels my husband's, and tonight as we listen to the NPR results come in we'll be holding hands across the aisle. Maybe a little kissing too. We are such model for democracy in our house!

    GREAT NEWS:


    I posted a few weeks back about a friend of mine in LA who was voting Yes on Prop 8 to teach "those liberal judges a lesson." Well...she just got off the phone with me all proud and wanting me to know that not only did she vote for Obama but also against Prop 8!!!!!!!! I am so glad I stuck it out being her friend because when it came down to it, she listened to me and decided I was right, that it was wrong to vote for discrimination and now she's feeling very proud of herself and proud to be American and all that sappy stuff. Fox News did not steal her soul after all!


    I am just so happy I could cry. Again!

    I wore my best blue outfit to vote for Obama in the very red state of Alabama today! There was no line at noon today.


    One of my facebook friends (she's merely an acquaintance in real life) has been posting messages all day about how scared of Obama she is. I was getting really angry until I realized she can't even vote because she isn't a US citizen.
