I love how she goes "OK BYE JANE FONDA!" I once saw the Playboy Bunnies at Chili's (true story!) and I yelled "BYE PLAYBOY BUNNIES IT WAS SO MUCH FUN TO SEE YOU" when they left. It's hard to just be like "Yo Holly, what's up?"
I liked when Lily said to not use use "douche" in the pejorative because it's "anti-woman". I'm mixed on this. See, I think douching is a bad idea. It's not something I would recommend to ANY woman... it's not something I'm "pro", therefore I don't find it "anti". But I can see where she's coming from.
@elephantshoes: Yeah, I feel the same way. Calling someone a pussy or cunt as a put down--I hate. But douching is so gross, I feel it's like calling someone an enema.
@Majrhoulihan: I actually really like the word "cunty" the adjective, though I would probably not call someone a cunt. I know I shouldn't like this term, but for some reason I just really, really, want to use it to describe a very specific bitchy, manipulative bahavior.
@elephantshoes: Douching can be harmful to the vagina. Anyone that I call a douche is also harmful to my vagina. Since douching itself is sorta anti-woman (better clean that filthy vagina! It better smell like roses!) I don't think calling someone a douche is super terrible.
I absolutely adore Kathy, and no terrible thing she can say can make me feel otherwise. I've watched "Allegedly" more times than I could possibly count.
@mariposatraicionera: Humor is an individual taste. Personally, I usually find her to be hilarious. Thereare tons of comics that I don't find the least bit entertaining, however, no matter how many people think they are great.
@AllieCaulfield: I've met Jane Fonda, and she's very nice, I think, to her own people. I was working with a well-known feminist organization and she was very friendly. That said, it doesn't surprise me at all that she doesn't have the sense of humor for Kathy Griffin.
Fuck you Kathy Griffin for making fun of someone eating disorder. After hearing that, I broke up with this show. It's crazy, but I cannot fucking stand the way people mock eating disorders as being something glamorous starlets do for attention or in order to keep working. These diseases are serious. /end rant.
@Trulymadlyme: I don't think she meant it that way. She was just joking. I thought it was kind of funny. I understand it's serious, but if we can't laugh at these things than what's the point of life? It's like that show FX had called "Starved". It was a hilarious show but people freaked out because it was a comedy about people with EDs. I say calm down and lighten up people.
And before anyone says anything, I have struggled with an ED for 15 years and yes, I can still poke fun.
@thatsspinach: Yeah. I actually enjoyed "Starved" in light it took a somewhat interesting take on ED (equal parts dark and humorous). I've never struggled with this, but having had people I care about deal with it, the whole quip reminded me of the sort of comments I've heard people make about someone struggling with ED.

This from a woman who said the word "cunt" on live TV.

Kathy's mom drinking wine and calling the Ying Yang Twins was priceless.
