    Don't know if any of the other Colorado jezzies saw this, but there was a vegan lady in Boulder who wanted to get a vanity plate reading 'I <3 TOFU'. Her request was denied, as it was deemed this could be interpreted as 'I <3 TO F U'.

    She was pissed and gave an interview to the tune of, 'Well, the Department of Revenue employees need to get their minds out of the gutter!'

    However, as I learned while working at a museum in high school trying to teach a bunch of middle schoolers a traditional harvest dance that when you say "so make two lines and bang your hoes on the floor" this distinction means nothing

    @Lymed: @ihateyourescalade: A friend teaches journalism at a community college and tells a story about the time someone handed in a paper about a subject, and they had literally just highlighted a Wiki page, copied the whole thing onto a Word doc, and scaled all the text down to the same size. All the hyperlinks were still intact and everything.


    Kids these days. Get off my lawn and learn to research correctly!
