    Yay for outdoorsy bebehs. I have too many friends and relatives that keep theirs inside and pretty darn stationary at an age where getting out an discovering the world should be of high priority.


    Can't wait for the nephew to turn 1 so I can keep him over weekends while the sis and bro-in-law have some "us" time... and we can spend days on those weekends outdoors almost the whole day (and maybe night too, once we start taking him camping).

    @wednesdayam: Total agreement from me. Baby Buster has been basically obsessed with the outdoors since he was about a day and a half old. Any time he gets fussy, we take him out and he is good.


    Two days ago I took him for a hike in his pack, and let him out at one point to play with the dog. He played for a little while, then started chugging on down the trail. He walked about a quarter of a mile before he'd let me put him back in his pack, and he's only 11 months old! So awesome.


    Also, we are landlocked, but hope to take him to the beach this summer. Can't wait to see his chubby toes in the sand! This photo makes me a little jealous right now.

    Wasn't that kid born a little while ago? Anyway, I agree with everyone; baby belly and chubby legs are the most wonderful thing. After all these years of trying, Matt's finally taken a sexy picture. Is there anything more beautiful than doting daddy and baby?
