i think i just saw a picture of hayden panetierre (sp? don't really care that much...) wearing the same dress as Kara Dioguardi but like, in all gold instead of a different colored brocade on the top.
Being shot from slightly above eye level is the most flattering angle for a lot of women. Your eyes look bigger and extra chins are less likely to show.
But Kristin, Kelly, Paula and Kara are the only ones who look like they are shot from above. Emily is actually looking down and she's pretty tall.
I the off-ness of the photos has more to do with how thin these women are. No motion and not so much photoshop really shows how thin they are.
Be nice to me, and I'll consider letting Kristin Chenoweth out of my pocket so you can see her. You can't touch her though. She's too delicate. I'm the only person who can because I'm special. Well, maybe I'll let you brush her hair for a minute. Only if you wash your hands first.
Paula Abdul and Paris Hilton are both in the running to star as Tinkerbell in a live-action Disney Princess movie...expect more of this in the future. sigh
@carolpp1005: Oh no! How dare her legs submit to the normal process of aging! How dare a lady in her mid-forties not have the gleaming glam gams of a pert 20-year-old! SHE IS DOING IT TO OFFEND YOU PERSONALLY
...Agh. Paula's frock just turned into the face of a praying mantis. Her poor, imprisoned breasts are the eyes and the straps are antennae and the blingy uncomfortable-looking waist piece is now ANGRY MANDIBLES.
@NefariousNewt: The flattery of the uniform is often inversely proportional to the entree price. Meaning, the more formal one goes, the less flattering the uniform.
@PixiePerson: I wish that happened to me ever. I'm tall, and most people that take my picture are taking it from about 7 inches below my eyeline, which makes for some awfully unflattering, non-bobblehead pictures. Hello, chinS.
@Samanthrax: I have that problem, too. Oh, also, does anyone else use the Photo Booth program on their Mac to take lots of pictures of themselves? I keep doing it, trying to see what I "really" look like. Do I really have all those chins? Are my wrinkles bad? What color is my hair, really? It's strange. And vain?
@cocobanal: I do that too. I have never ever told anyone I do that, but I do. The conclusions are never as good as I'd like, but not as bad as I expected, either.
@cocobanal: I do that all the time. I look at myself from all angles and when I stare long enough, I start to think that my nose is crooked, that one eye is squintier than the other, etc. And my hair...oh my hair. Then I decide that I'm the only person that would actually notice these things, so it's all good. Not as strange as you think. I think it's more of a pointless time waster than anything else.
I do like that Kelly O. is usually interesting to look at.She seems to still be dressing herself. Maybe I'm wrong, but she always looks like it was her choices, instead of a stylist.
Although Emily Deschanel s clearly gorgeous, do you think sometimes she just hates her little sister for being, well, Zooey Deschanel and ruining her chance of being anything but Zooey Deschanel's older sister?
