    I went to a Pirates game in 1994. There were 2000 people in attendance. You could hear the players' conversations.

    @breccia: No, I'm a Minnesotan living in Minnesota. I saw a Twins/As game this year in Oakland, though, and it was as cheap as the Metrodome...and PNC Park, too...from the sound of things! Yay to dollar dogs!

    @formergr, dreamweave & confusedforahotsecond: it bothers me so much. in truth, i don't know if madonna herself calls her mercy or chifundo - but i hate that her real name's been buried this way in the press.and i mean, honestly she's 3, she KNOWS her name, y'know?... i cannot imagine how weird it'd be if all the westeners i grew up with decided to call me 'sunrays' out of convenience, because that's what my name means.....

    If David (that's the little boy's name, right?) stays a Yankees fan, then they'll have EPIC sibling rivalry via sports. My Aunt and my dad have that with the twins/brewers (respectively). It is so. much. fun. Makes the games very exciting.
