    Tom Ford shaving off his eyebrows in a mescaline-induced fit is one of the funniest things I have read in a long time.     I actually really love Blake Lively's necklace, as it's a big fancy necklace I could wear. As a short, slightly well endowed women, big fun necklaces don't really work so well. I just wish her hemline was different, it looks weird for some reason.

    Also I cannot be the only one who gets vindictive pleasure out of Nina Garcia looking awful at an event like this. #blakelively

    Leigh Lezark is gorgeous and I absolutely love her entire outfit.

    I have two pairs of the stocking Helen Lee Shifter is wearing and I promise, they are adorable and very flattering. J. Crew makes them as well as Wolford and some other brands. That's my unsolicited fashion advice for the day! #blakelively

    @Leucadia: I'm a huge fan of wearing patterned tights. My job requires me to dress fairly conservatively, so tights and jewelry are the best ways to add some character to my outfits. I would recommend sticking to black patterned tights if you're uneasy with them at first because the black (as opposed to say, plum) keeps them a bit more restrained. That said, I actually like the mixed patterns look, but I'm a bit of a magpie anyway. #blakelively

    @Tchotchke: You sound very chic! I do have some of those sort of openwork tights (look almost like crochet) in black, worn with a simple black dress, and my fashionable undergrad students loved them. They were itchy, tho! #blakelively

    I kind of want to be Blake Lively for a day. Really badly. And I am moved-yes, moved- to voice a complaint: Nina Garcia. Those highlights? Yes, those, in your hair. They are....unfortunate. They are dreadful. They are Played Out. I'm sorry but I expect better from you, dear, and your hair has disappointed me. Natural is always best. I hate to be such a nitpicker but this is such a huge peeve of mine. Especially when it's a woman who has such lovely thick hair-why ruin it with those awful, unflattering stripes? Ok I'm done being petty. #blakelively

    @Aesop's Foibles. YES.: I had to look closely at her hair. If it was gray, I'd be all ok with her embracing her natural color. But nope, someone did that to her on purpose. And she probably paid for it. Although maybe they're filming Shear Genius, and the challenge was to do the hair of people who judge on shows that used to be on Bravo. Someone should check on Michael Kors's hair. #blakelively
