    Does anyone else find themselves six hours in to a L&O: SVU marathon on TNT and then wonder wtf happened to their day? Or maybe that is just me.

    @cdjill: Same here, although it's gotten better since I moved in w/ fiancé. When I used to live by myself, I'd watch insane amounts of L&O re-runs without realizing it.

    @Kivrin: Oh, lucky you. My boyfriend had never watched a single episode of L&O until he met me, and now he's worse than I am. He comes home and needs his L&O fix.

    @Uncommon Whore: Ha, I think my guy used to do the same thing I did when he lived alone -- we both came home from work, crashed on the couch, and got sucked into L&O reruns. We sometimes do it now, but we end up guilting ourselves into doing other stuff when we realize that we've both seen a particular episode multiple times already. :)

    @brassknuckles: I don't wonder. I scroll through the listings to see how many episodes are in a row, then say "Well, I guess this is what I'm doing today!" and make some coffee or heat up leftovers.


    This goes double for Criminal Intent, although "coffee" would be replaced with "vodka" because I prefer my CI at night.

    @brassknuckles: Me too. I'm pretty sure that the cumulative # of hours I've wasted watching and rewatching these episodes could've been used to obtain a law degree and become semi-fluent in Mandarin, probably with enough hours left over to become proficient at chess.

    I adore them both, especially Lovely Mariska, but that show has gotten even more redonk the past few episodes, if possible. Watching it makes me roll my eyes at myself.

    @PhillyLass: I think part of the problem with that episode was that that girl can't act worth a damn!


    Some of the episodes have gotten kind of WTF recently....though the one where Olivia went undercover in the women's prison was crazy affecting. Her performance was amazing considering what she was having to act out...
