Personally, I dont know anyone who is a member of NOW, but I know a truck load of people who consider themselves feminists. But this nonsense about Palin supporters doing anything but serving their own good and making waves in multiple communities just to gain more power is disgusting. A sexist woman is not a feminist and supporting her by doing sexist, ageist and racist things is not only disgusting but again helping out the other side.

The whole book is a fascinating, if depressing, read. I don't even know the author, but it blew my socks off in general. Think of it as Jerry Maguire's manifesto without the smarm - "The Things Women Think But Do Not Say".

Is their racial difference really super-important to the story at hand? The most important question, of course, is how Ms. O'Neill will continue to defend the rights of Elisabeth Hasselbeck and ONLY Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
