TheatersDVDYou know what: I crow at your death Big Production. You may have the budgets, but we have the internets and now distribution can happen without you. Suckers.
And Dodai-luckily there is a third option: support indie stuff and stuff from other places.

You bet I'd pay to see Wonder Woman.
Make it happen, Hollywood hobos -_-

As for "why no live-action?" or "why no theatrical release?" They went with an animated update because it's a cheap, safe, noncommittal way of testing the waters and making a profit. WB did this with Batman and Superman, and because they have a solid crew and process on the animation side that can make a successful product.
And they'll keep doing it because they haven't got the balls to keep the studio hands out of the creative process (ie: Planet of the Apes(2001)). A It's a textbook move.

TheatersDVDHow about little girls looking up to actual women who have accomplished actual things while wearing actual clothing? Would that be so weird?
In its place I'd take an unsexified superhero.

As for your comment with her breasts, they don't seem large or small for her design.
As for her costume, I've always like Donna Troy's version. Or, her Kingdom Come version, which actually has shown up in the regular books occasionally.

@Gundam_Halo: Her breast are huge for her frame (you must be used to seeing a lot of fakes) but the real point is, she could not save anyone without those puppies strapped down. How many athletes do you see in tops lie that?
I would take this but in long pants:

Like, seriously? As in, there's a memo and they stated that? Or do you just mean as you look at the history of WB?

TheatersDVDAlso, how do you feel about female anti-heroes? Kill Bill for example.
On this subject I would very highly recommend Elizabeth Whitney's exploration of these themes in Wonder Woman: The Musical, but I'm really curious as to what everyone's opinion is.

I think people would be surprised what direction comics have gone, especially in the past few years.

I don't care much for superhero comics, because I find them dull. I know who's going to win. It's so rare for a superhero to lose - it happens, though (Captain America, is he still dead?).
I have enjoyed many a comic in my day, and I love them a lot, but I have trouble finding ones that really appeal to me and don't make me roll my eyes. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Lenore are still way up there, as is The Crow and usually Dawn. I have a lot of issues with Linsner, but... I do like his stuff most of the time.

Gail Simone, please to write the script? You are funny and I like how you write WW to be such a relatable person!
