La diablada is practiced in Northern Chile, Perú and Bolivia. But there is a bit of anymosity between those 3 countries, so I should think everyone claims it as their own.
@shanASS: It's on San José and Venezuela (Montserrat) there are 3 big restaurants: Plaza Mayor (Spanish food) Campo Dei Fiori (Italian, go for the gnocchi, you can thank me later) and Diablada, which is parrilla and Argy food.
Mantecol? Mmmm... too dry for me, I only eat it at Christmas.
@CurtCole: Why would you throw your bouquet?! That symbolizes the passing of the torch and then it's no longer YOUR DAY!!!! And you DESERVE to be the eternal bride! You need to get that shit bronzed and never change out of your wedding gown. I'm talkin' Miss Havisham style.
@Zombie Ms. Skittles: No, don't get any kind of fancy 8 x 10! I guarantee what theywould most like to see are a couple natural, unposed, makeup-free shots in natural light. Wear something simple and form-fitting and look happy! Good luck.
oh, leighton. "Any fear of aging, I think, is simply vanity," Meester told the magazine. "Because what comes with age is so many wonderful things: wisdom, understanding."
@cate3710: I am getting this for my boyfriend because he made me watch that video so many times that often I will just get the "Meow, meow-meow-meow meeeoooooww" lopping in my head. Goddammit.
I have to be honest, if I had the money I'd start botox now, I am 26. From what I have heard if you start young it can look natural.
Usually the people who advocate aging gracefully and all are incredibly attractive and aging gracefully. I need all the help I can get.
Although the comment does it make it sound like she is already using it but if you go the site she seems to just be saying people should be free to do what they want.
@Elaken: Darling, I am sure you are a beautiful young lady who doesn't need to inject things into your face. Please think twice about Botox. It is not as side effect free as many think. Avoid the sun, don't smoke, drink lots of water, and use good skin products and you will be lovely for years.
@Elaken: I'd second Badmutha's excellent advice. I've always thought that probably a wiser path to take is to use the thousands of dollars you might spend on cosmetic surgery and procedures and put it towards things that will make you feel good about yourself in other ways. Whether that's travelling to the mosques of Samarkand and the secret snow-covered mountain passes of the Himalayas, or buying a whole library full of good books to read, or a wardrobe of beautiful, magical clothing, or a gleaming sailboat, fast as a knife, or time well spent with a fantastic, life-affirming therapist, or whatever it is that floats your boat. It will make you more interesting, and it will never, ever let you down.
Go for life experiences over botox, friend. It's always the right choice.
"Richard Tyler's iconic red dress uniform for Delta only goes up to a size 18."
I don't really see the problem with this. Flight attendants already have height (and probably weight) restrictions. From what I've see when I travel by airplane most don't surpass a size 18. I'd say that the flight attendants that I've encountered have probably been a size 14 and below.

Also, it makes me giggle a little that they're basically arguing that Bolivians are more entitled to satanic dances than Peruvians.
