I think her most outrageous moment on the show was during the Zodiac challenge, when during the party, Heidi Klum asked her why the breasts on the costume were "down here" Kenley went off and told her "you don't know where breasts are" And interviewed "If Heidi's being ignorant, I'm going to set her straight"

She said this to a freakin' underwear model!

I remember being nominated for a Worstie once for defending her, though. I though she petty, bratty, and rude, but so was Christian, yet she was completely trashed on this site. It felt like "girl-on-girl" (girl? Woman!) crime, and really hateful. I thought it might be motivated by her looks and her talents. I still don't think she was the most obnoxious contestant ever.

I liked Kenley and her designs in the beginning of that season. Her subsequent decent into brattiness and then her ASSAULTING SOMEONE WITH A CAT!!!! made me feel like Mama Tyra when she went totally crazy and screamed, "I was rooting for you!"

@HighSchoolFearleader: That's what really turned me off of Kenley. I don't take kindly to anyone who's disrespectful to Tim Gunn (or Tom Colicchio, for that matter). You don't have to agree with them 100%, but they have years of experience and knowledge on you, so don't be a brat.

Kenley reminds me a lot of my former self—mean as a defense mechanism, and because I didn't fit in anyway—so maybe I relate to her more than others do. I have no problem liking the confident jerks (Santino and Jeff were my favorites on previous seasons), but giving Tim Gunn an attitude is completely crossing the line. Though I will say, I don't think Leanne came off looking very well in how she dealt with Kenley, whispering and snickering about her in the corner. That really rubbed me the wrong way, and I loved Leanne before that.

@bananaballs: Well, I don't really think anybody deserves to be snickered at. Told what's up, sure. But Leanne looked straight up like Regina George when she did that. No, thank you. Regardless, I disagree that she was "abusive" to others. She seemed to overcompensate for her insecurity and her not fitting in, and probably having been made fun of in the past, by being mean and abrasive and defensive. I didn't perceive it as intentional. She really didn't understand why people didn't like her, because she didn't realize how she came off, or mean to come off that way. (I'm talking about her interactions with the other contestants, not her interactions with Tim. As I said, the latter were unacceptable. The former, I think, are being exaggerated.) That's not to say it's right or acceptable, but I really don't think she's the villain she's made out to be. Leanne's cruelty, on the other hand, was intentional, and that's the difference.

@Eriu: So because she doesn't have any self-awareness about how bratty and insufferable she is, people around her are supposed to have monastic patience about it? Her personality sucked in that environment. She was bitchy and rude to nearly everyone around her, and if I had to deal with her, I would probably be A LOT more outspoken about my feelings than Leanne ever was. This is the world we live in (well, not a TV show, but the situation is universal). No one is perfect, but those of us who are adults try to grow and learn things about ourselves and how to make ourselves better. Those that can't deal either have to learn the hard way, get some therapy, or figure it out somehow, or they'll remain perennial children. I just don't feel sorry for her, and it's not anyone else's job to protect her from the truth.

Constantly being the bigger person, no matter what, even if you find the person completely obnoxious and offensive is a nearly impossible feat, and I would hate to be held to that gold standard all the time.

@bananaballs: I didn't say I feel sorry for her. I just don't hate her as vehemently as everyone here does. And I didn't even say Leanne should have been the bigger person. By all means, snap back at her bitchy comments. I would've loved that. She absolutely deserved someone putting her in her place and calling her out on her shit, and probably would've even benefitted from it in the long run. Leanne did not do that. She was passive-aggressive. She whispered and snickered but didn't have the guts to actually confront her. That is not "outspoken." That is childish. And if you were on the show and were outspoken in response to Kenley, I probably would have clapped.

I am so fucking tired of people using the excuse, "People don't like confident women!" when they are just being complete assholes. I am strong and confident, but I am also a nice, considerate person. There's a difference between being confident, standing up for yourself and getting what you want and just being a dick.

@Rosaxé: She lives in my neighborhood. I remember standing behind her at the vegetable stand as she berated the male who accompanied her (boyfriend?). It was quite embarrassing for everyone involved and definitely seemed like she had no concept of how crazy she looked.
