    Saint John the Baptist day is June 24th (at least in the Roman Catholic and Russian Orthodox churches).

    I should know, it's my birthday. Therefore I am curious as to why August 29th is a big deal (though I feel as if a Bishop knows better than fallen Catholic me).

    @electricbubbles: June 24th is his birth. August 29th is when he was beheaded. Both churches has these feast, although John the Baptist has four additional feast days in the Orthodox Church. We have a different calendar than Catholics--i.e., Easter is on a different calendar.

    With that cast (Gosselin, Lohan, Canseco, Rodman), why don't they just go ahead and call that "Divorced Dads Club" show "America's Next Top A-Wipe?" There could be challenges to see who is the most pathetic! And the host could come out at the end of each epi and tell them each individually if they are still in the running towards becoming America's Next Top A-Wipe.

    The LAPD has issued a statement saying someone gave them the nude Eric Dane/Rebecca Gayheart tape that "could link celebrities engaging in illegal activity...

    ...that can get them a slap on the wrist, community service and worst of all, the loss of huge endorsement deals, television and film projects. Can we just focus on the illegal activity going on in non-celebrity neighborhoods instead?

    @Penny: Nothing exciting happens - it's Brad basically acting like anyone else does on a flight: swigging a beer; trying to sleep; walking down the aisle; reading a magazine. Just creepy because he is obviously completely unaware that he is being secretly filmed. Way invasive and horrible.

    @SevenNationArmy is a ghetto whore goblin: I do too. I can't watch his movies anymore. I'm not sure why; there is no other actor that I have such a strong dislike for (well, maybe Zach Braff). I don't even feel that way about Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie-- and I hate almost everyone in Alexander on principle.

    So VH1 allowed a man with a history of violence against women onto a dating show?? I thought reality shows have been screening for these things ever since Rick Whatshisface on Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire! Unbelievable...

    I really hope Celine Dion authorized her doctor to reveal that information, otherwise we are talking major HIPAA violation.

    OK, TLC, I think the whole show is kind of a farce at this point, but why not let Jon go? Then you can focus on Kate Plus 8, struggles of a single mom, etc. I doubt he'd be missed.

    I feel a little weird knowing so early on about Celine Dion's pregnancy. I don't know if she authorized the info, but it sounds like she's still in the first trimester. If someone leaked that without her knowledge, that's low.

    And Cobra Starship, WTF? First of all you, have a song called "Good Girls Go Bad." And your name is fuckin' Cobra Starship.

    @clevernamehere: I don't like to call people gay, but I know anyone that talks that much about girls and not having a girlfriend and why he doesn't have a girlfriend and gosh isn't it difficult to find a good girl is either a gay person, or a possible contestant for Megan Wants A Millionaire. And the men on that show don't sparkle, they fucking sweat.

    @ampersandparade: Eh, I've seen a lot of young actors make reference to not having a girlfriend but wanting one. Sometimes I think its a cover for being a player, sometimes I think they're gay, and sometimes I think they might legitimately be working so many hours they barely date. It was just the combo of one nice girl and supermodels galore that made me roll my eyes.
