    But PETA euthanizes all of the dogs and cats in its animal rescue program. So they really have no place to go around criticizing people who wear fur. Although I think wearing fur is shitty, personally, I think PETA is a sexist, extremist organization whose tactics are useless and annoying.

    @jenny_dreadful: The organization that claims PETA abuses animals is the Center for Consumer Freedom, aka a meat, tobacco, and dairy lobbyist group.


    They're just as biased as PETA, so I would take their claims with a grain of salt.

    @sportz.star: I'd say PETA would probably catch more flies with honey, but they'd probably accuse me of cruelty to winged insects!


    Bullying and belittling people isn't the way to convert them to the animal rights cause. Education and encouragement are.

    @veganthankgoodness: I hate it when people think just because you are vegan/animal rights person you agree with Peta. I'm probably more animal rights crazy than Peta, but I agree with about 0 of their tactics. Because I also like, um, humans.
