    C'mon, community sucked. It was not about college life on any level (that I could tell, and I teach college). And it just wasn't funny. I think he should stick to the soup.

    @waitinformyman: I just spent two years at a community college, and I found it to be as accurate as any media portrayal I've seen. FWIW, I'm at one of the more "prestigious" public universities now and I think I prefer the CC student body to the U student body-- less attitude and more work ethic.

    And remember, it's a comedy, which is generally character-driven, and they aren't aiming to project a perfectly accurate portrayal of a CC, they're using the setting as a device to drive the plots.

    Suzanne Somers' comment is disrespectful, in poor taste and ignorant -- as if he had a choice? Pancreatic cancer has a high mortality rate, and he already outlived all expectations.
    And didn't he refuse pain medication in order to make most of the months he and his wife and family had? He lived and died with so much grace, and Suzanne Somers should not use his death as an opportunity to put herself into the spotlights.

    Wow Chrissy...I mean Suzanne. Lemme just explain something to you. Come over here to camera three.

    Cancer is evil. It is an attack on your body by your body and therefore it's very nature is both unfair and harsh.

    Unfortunately, Cancer doesn't respond to vita-shakes and broccoli. I wish it did but no, alas, it doesn't. You can try to live healthier to avoid it but as cancer is mostly unpredictable - as you can get Cancer due to your lifestyle choices (drinking, smoking, rolling around in uranium) or through the simple fate of being with the genetic propensity for it.

    Please see above when I mention how unfair it is.

    Also - Tact, according to MW - definition two- is "a keen sense of what to do or say in order to maintain good relations with others or avoid offense" and Suzy Q you've managed to FAIL at that.

    Someone explain to me where Lindsay Lohan's money comes from that she can travel the world and hit the clubs every night. She hasn't made a movie in three years, right? Are companies really seeking her out for sponsorships? Did she invest really well? I am curious!

    That's pretty shitty of Martha to dog Kmart like that. They did carry her line for a decade plus, way to insult everyone who shops there. And honestly it's not like Home Depot is so clean. It smells like wood and the orange hurts my eyes.

    Also, as much as J. Simp annoys, there's no evidence that she stood there saying "Meh, I don't care" when a coyote ran off with her dog so I don't think it's fair to say she wasn't careful.

    I feel really bad for Jessica Simpson. My cat disappeared earlier this year and we're fairly certain a coyote got her (and I live in the suburbs of NYC, not the canyons of LA--coyotes are everywhere these days).
