    @hatepaperdoll: George and Martha! I loved these books as a kid! That is, until my little brother started hitting me with the book, shouting "GEORGE AND MARTHA" at me each time he did it. Now I associate the title with pain :(

    There was a brief moment there where I thought she had actually nommed the puppy's head entirely. I suppose you have to have a special license to have a hippo in your backyard, so I trust these people know what they're doing, but that frightened me.

    @tonightineed is actually Mrs. Ziegler-Spock: yea, when her mouth was open around the puppeh and then she closed it real quick. I definitely would have thought she killed it if not for, you know, it being on TV. and the lighting.

    Also, this Tony seems to play pretty fast and loose with his puppies. But maybe I'm just being too precious about it- if I had a puppy, I'm pretty sure I'd make it live in those bjorn slings so I could always play with it.

    @Scoithniamh: I have considered, more than once, buying some sort of baby sling for my cockapoo so that I could carry her around with me. Unfortunately, at 18 lbs, she's just barely too big for that kind of thing. Plus she'd HATE it.

    @Kivrin: I would love to take my Pomeranian everywhere, but he's 12lb and has long legs. He looks like a little deer when he's shaved. He doesn't really fit into any of the dog carriers comfortably. Also, I think he would make nervous little sprinkles anytime a stranger tried to pet him.

    @LindsayC: dissertations are overrated.: Hippos are usually pretty vicious; seriously, those things will kill a crocodile if it pisses them off. I guess because they got her as a baby she never learned to be mean?
