Great. Clothes? Dizzy.]]> Yesterday, the Dizzy Feet Foundation, founded by Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Katie Holmes "to help underprivileged young people realize their dream of becoming professional dancers," held its "Inaugural Celebration of Dance" at the Kodak Theatre. Ready?

"No pictures, please. Channing Tatum and I are just good friends."

"I am the ghost of Christmas past. Bring me an Old-Fashioned, a pack of Luckys and a pair of tap shoes!" (Yes, that is Mitzi "Nurse Nellie Furbush" Gaynor!)

Jenna Dewan: "Make this quick. My breasts are trying to escape."

Katie Holmes (a Dizzy Feet Foundation founding member) has the look of someone who knows she's about to have to answer questions about Scientology, being a prisoner, and/or her daughter's shoes. In other words, she's poised to flee. (Or else her skirt is just shorter than she realized and she's doing the no-show dance.)

Haylie Duff: holiday-party-ready. All she needs is one of those sparkly sweaters!

Mary Murphy is either sporting a dress that looks like a strapless mini over a tee, or a strapless mini over a tee. It's a philosophical and aesthetic conundrum.

Sharni Vinson says: "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof auditions, this way?"

Philanthropist Glorya Kaufman has, with her multiple good works, earned the right to wear a see-through housecoat if she so chooses. And to spell her name with a "Y."

Kristi Yamaguchi: "What? I like bows."

<![CDATA[Attire All Over The Place At "Rock A Little, Feed A Lot" Benefit]]> Stars like Christina Applegate, Isla Fisher and Alanis Morissette were confused about what to wear to the Rock A Little, Feed A Lot benefit concert in L.A. last night. Fancy or casual? LBD or ill-filling trousers? Tuxedo or plaid shirt!?!?!?!

Christina Applegate: Sleek, basic, body-conscious black. Safe? Sure. But also classy.

I'm not a huge fan of Isla Fisher's pleated leather skirt, but she looks comfortable and cool.

Remember when Katharine McPhee was a brunette who wore pretty dresses? Now she's a blonde in liquid leggings. Downgrade.

More liquid leggings… But since Jillian Michaels looks prepared to kick my ass, I'll shut up.

Not sure about the vest, but I love Sheryl Crow's punky plaid pants.

Alanis Morissette's basic black stays interesting with a drapey neckline.

I'm probably one of the few fools who actually watched the Disney Channel original movie Gotta Kick It Up!, in which Camille Guaty starred — it's about Latina teens on a dance squad, and I do not recommend it. But call me crazy: I think wearing a tiger tee to a rock event is okay.

Marcia Cross looks dramatic in black, what with the flawless, pale skin and fiery hair, but the neckbow on that top is a No.

I like Courteney Cox's easy purple shift dress, but someone should have told her that when she puts her hands in her pockets it looks like she's about to announce an Unsolicited Uterus Update.

Jenna Dewan, aka Nora in Step Up, aka Mrs. Channing Tatum, chose regular leggings over liquid leggings and a tunic made from birthday present gift wrap.

Dear Lance Bass: It appears that your jacket does not fit, and you're trying to fake it by wearing it open, with the sleeves pushed up. I know this trick, because I have done it before. That is all.

Jimmy Jean-Louis is a Haitian actor known for his character — creatively called "The Haitian" — on Heroes. He is also very handsome, very dapper, and, sadly, overdressed for this event. Or maybe everyone else is underdressed? Don't change a thing, Mr. Jean-Louis. We love you just the way you are.

Lisa Kudrow has made some bad choices. Namely: That jacket with that T-shirt, those pants and those shoes.

<![CDATA[Michael Jackson's Death Ruled A Homicide; John Krasinski & Emily Blunt Engaged]]>

  • The L.A. County Coroner has ruled that Michael Jackson's death was a homicide caused by a mixture of the anesthetic propofol and the anti-anxiety drug lorazepam, but MJ had many other drugs running through his system when he died.

According to a statement released today by the coroner's office, the toxicology report also says midazolam, a muscle relaxant; diazepam, a.k.a Valium; lidocaine, a local anesthetic for needle burn; and ephedrine, a stimulant and decongestant. The final autopsy and toxicology reports will remain on security hold for now at the request of the LAPD. <![CDATA[Seriously Strange Love At Nylon!]]> Nylon Magazine's parties always bring out the glam and the weird and the stars, and their TV Issue Party, at L.A.'s Mondrian Skybar, was no exception. Think Anna Paquin, Diablo Cody, Eliza Dushku, and many more delightfully bizarre ensembles!

I'm glad Samaire Armstrong looks so happy; if I were weighted to the ground by a pair of two-ton lead diver's shoes, I'd be less sanguine.

Katie Cassidy's animal print may skew a little 80's-Barbie, but sometimes maybe that's what you want?

See, why did Kristin Cavallari's little tunic - otherwise quite unexceptionable - have to slit so far up the leg? It turns it into a "shirt" and thus, gross.

I like that Diablo Cody seems to shop her closet/wear regular clothes half the time.

Jenna Dewan's ferocious expression suggests an elaborate revenge fantasy involving these boots.

See, this is how we do it: if you're gonna go hog-wild with the shoes, go simple with the rest, like Eliza Dushku.

Let's be generous and assume the airline lost Shannon Elizabeth's luggage and she was forced to construct an outfit from these random bits and pieces. Otherwise, it's inexplicable.

Shenae Grimes: it's true, Sassy was awesome and the early 90s had some rad music. But, honey, it's over. It's gone.

And report that to Anna Paquin. Although I don't know if her dress and I liked the same music.

If I were Stephanie Jacobsen's parent, there's no way I'd let her leave the house wearing that face.

Wow, has Bridget Marquardt gone demure since leaving the Mansion? (It's all relative)

Aubrey O'Day's shoes match her lipstick. And both match Miami retiree.

<![CDATA[G.I. Joe Screening: Real American Weirdos]]> If the fashions at this special screening of G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra at Grauman's Chinese Theatre are any indication of the movie, the flick's all over the place. And involves Heidi and Spencer and a copy of Playboy.

Love her or hate her — because Sienna Miller's one of those inexplicably polarizing stars — everyone can agree that she looks old Hollywood glam.

Jenna Dewan's motto: if a little leg's good, a lot's better.

Even though I kinda hate Ciara's new-wave tennis getup, and the necklace looks potentially lethal, she looks typically confident and amazing.

Ew. Every single one of these pictures of Heidi and Spencer shows them mugging with her Playboy. What this has to do with either their faith or the New World Order, I couldn't say.

Before you make your judgment of the stunning Rachel Nichols' gown...

...you should probably see the back.

For his sake, I hope young Leo Howard— or at least his mom — comes to regret this picture, in which he is dressed like a dad going through a mid-life crisis.

I dunno, gang. It just seems like if Aubrey O'Day wants to wear something crisp and structured, it should actually looks kind of...crisp. And structured.

<![CDATA[The Zohan Premiere: Starring Everyone You Kinda-Sorta Know, Looking Kinda-Sorta Good]]> The best of the B-list came out last night for the L.A. premiere of Adam Sandler's latest comedy, Don't Mess With The Zohan, and many of the not-quite-there stars showed off not-quite-there clothes. Yes, some of young Hollywood's lady up-and-comers — Anna Faris! Emmanuelle Chriqui! — pulled off luscious looks, but there were also some fashion crimes — Charlotte Rae! Marissa Jaret Winokur! — that we simply cannot ignore. All of them, of course, after the jump.

The Good
Anna Faris, aka "That girl from Scary Movie" looks downright pretty.
I love Emmanuelle Chriqui's nightgown-inspired dress, because lord knows I love me a nightgown.
Oh look, it's "that chick from Superbad" looking super good. Her name is Emma Stone; take note friends.
Malina Akerman from Harold and Kumar To To White Castle rocks a dress I'd wear 420 times in a row.
Not that Adam Sandler is unattractive, but you know he's got to be psyched to be standing alongside his gorgeous, pregnant wife.
It's the super cool dude from Happy Days! Just kidding, it's David Spade channeling The Fonz, channeling my heart.

The Bad
Old School's Perrey Reeves looks sorta "mother-of-the-bride" here. Ha, just kidding. Michael Kors always says that on Project Runway and I don't even really know what it means. She actually just looks boring.
Jenna Dewan would look a lot better if she was wearing something else.

The Ugly

Rob Schneider is psyched: he gets to go out with a mermaid!
Oh Charlotte Rae: I don't even mind your fantasy cruise outfit, but those open-toed shoes? No. They look like Tevas from space. Are they Velcro?
Okay, Marissa Jaret Winokur: We get it. You were in Hairspray. You love hair, you love life, you are joyous and jubilant. Too happy in fact. It's annoying. Get dark already.

<![CDATA[Iron Man Premiere: The Bold, The Beautiful, The Jumpsuit On Gwyneth]]> After a gajillion and a half screenings and press junkets, the Iron Man movie finally had its official premiere last night in Los Angeles. And. Um. How best to phrase this? Well: Gwyneth Paltrow wore a jumpsuit. Yes, a jumpsuit. (See left; larger image after the jump.) Fortunately, the movie's lead, Robert Downey, Jr., stepped it up: He and wife Susan both embodied old-school Hollywood style. Who else was there? Funny you should ask: Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor, Billy Corgan (!), Emmanuelle Chirqui, Jennifer Grey (!!), Sean "Diddy" Combs, Beau Bridges, Pete Wentz, Terrence "Baby Wipes" Howard, Vince Vaughn, Jack Black, Rosanna Arquette and more. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, all after the jump.

The Good:
ironman430robertdowneyjr.jpgRobert Downey, Jr. and his wife Susan look like an old-time glamor couple from the Hollywood of yore.

ironman430benstiller.jpgBen Stiller looks sharp in his dark suit (even if he's almost doing "Blue Steel" here) and Christine Taylor rocks the naught secretary look.

ironman430billycorgan.jpgWhoah: It's Billy Corgan. He can wear whatever the fuck he wants. Especially when it involves a stripey shrirt, cropped pants, and a hat.

ironman430emmanuellechirqui.jpgEmmanuelle Chirqui makes it okay to wear white after Labor Day.

ironman430jennifergrey.jpgNo one puts Baby in the corner.

ironman430lesliebibb.jpgLeslie Bibb makes the one-shoulder dress look completely novel, not to mention sexy-yet-classy.

ironman430nazaninboniadi.jpgNazanin Boniadi's dress has to be Rami Kashou, right?!

ironman430seancombs.jpgSean Combs must be giving his outfit for this year's White Party a partial test-run.

The Bad:

Gwyneth Paltrow is wearing a jumper. How Studio 54 of her.

ironman430beaubridges.jpgBeau Bridges and Wendy Treece: Did they just step out of a time machine? I know I saw these looks at my cousin's Bat Mitzvah in 1989.

ironman430jennadewan.jpgJenna Dewan's dress has good ideas. But something went terribly wrong in its execution.

ironman430petewentz.jpg
I really have no patience for Pete Wentz and his "style." Also, is that a sweater vest I spy?

ironman430terrencehoward.jpg
Same goes for Terrence Howard. But minus the sweater vest. Also, shouldn't he be carrying baby wipes?

ironman430vincevaughn.jpgJust not Vince Vaughn's finest hour.

The Ugly:
ironman430jackblack.jpgOh blah blah blah I know that Jack Black is supposed to be all wacky and such, but he and wife Tanya Haden look like they're wearing their dirty laundry. From their time in the house-cleaning circus.

ironman430courtneyhansen.jpgCourtney Hansen's dress is so wrong on so many different levels. But the shiny, too-tight booby trap up top and the piecemeal bottom seem to be the most insurmountable problems.

ironman430rosannaarquette.jpgNo, seriously: What is Rosanna Arquette wearing?
