    Sorry, but no way he's high all the time like people think. I actually believe him when he says he doesn't smoke anymore. At the NYer Festival, he was asked about it & started telling this weird story about the last time he smoked and it got awkward... sounded like there was a fucked up reason why he stopped (though, fortunately, he ended the story halfway). Though, no doubt he seems like he his often!

    Also, on an unrelated note, damn Franco is hot. I want him BAD!

    @marin79: I agree he is mostly not stoned. I find what he is doing is sublime. I think a lot of soap actors have to sell their hastily written, over the top lines. But he is embracing them. And how amazing is the little jump that he does when his shirt is ripped off? Absolute genius.

    I haven't seen anything other than these clips (I live abroad) but is it written into the storyline that his character is baked all the time, or is that just something he, ahem, "improvised" all on his own?

    It looks like they are moving his story along pretty quickly too. (I mean in soap opera terms.) I haven't watched one in years but one of my main memories is of how they'd move along soooo slowly. Like they's have the same characters talking about the same thing, in the same room for daaaaaays. This was one of the reasons I swore of soaps for-evah!
