    Don't like Pink. She irritates me on a number of levels.


    Caroline Flack is adorable. She co-hosted Gladiators, and she was really cute and silly. She seems a good match for Harry. I'm also jealous of her previous conquests. Russell Brand! Noel Fielding! YUM!

Do yourself a favor and major in something useful that you actually have a prayer of being successful at.

    @Your Screenplay Sucks: A while back Rumer Willis gave gain interview about how she wants to become an actress, but she doesn't want her mother, father or Ashton's help? It just made me mad. Sure, she can go "Oh no Dad, don't call in any favors for me" all she wants, but as soon as her headshots land on a casting director's desk with that name and the fact that she looks exactly like Demi... she doesn't really need her parents help. She got it however many years ago when she was conceived.


    I just hope deep down these kids recognize that.

    @gobblegirl: If you read that Guardian article linked to upthread, it really is very creepy how she went about it all. If not quite baby-snatching, it definitely feels very colonialist to me.


    Sending Guy Ritchie in on a whirlwind tour of orphanages to video as many children as possible for a tape that Madge then reviewed and picked Mercy out of (without ever having even visited the country yet), is gross. *Then* she flew in pretending to do a "relief tour", and claimed to have fallen in love with the country, and decided after being there to adopt a child. Nope, instead it was all super-calculated and pre-arranged. Gross. As someone else noted, this sounds more how puppies are adopted than children.

    I really don't understand celebrities who have inexcusable rootage showing on their hair. If I, a poor peon who gets $8/hr, can afford a box of hair dye or a trip to the salon every five weeks, Madonna, who gets probably $8/second, should be able to as well. I know that roots are the "hot new thing," but that is as stupid as a Megan Fox tattoo.

    @morninggloria: I'm indifferent to both Pink and Kelly Clarkson, but my first thought when I read that quote was, aww, that's nice. When's the last time someone famous in the music industry went out of their way to say something nice about someone else that didn't turn into a backhanded compliment?

    @morninggloria: I think Pink's music is some of the more interesting sounding stuff on the radio these days, but I think that says more about mainstream pop music than about Pink. I do kinda like Pink, but to call her the artist of our generation is quite the stretch (again I think that says more about Kelly Clarkson than about Pink).
