    true story: My sister is getting her MFA in poetry at UC Irvine. James Franco applied for the MFA in fiction there, but didn't get in. I am so bitter- I would have totally made him my boyfriend.

    Also, I don't really see the scandal in Hayden Panettiere calling the cops. She gave them her real ID, yes? With ehr correct age on it? Meaning she broke no law whatsoever. If the club had let her in, they would have broken the law, which they didn't. I know they have a right to confiscate fake ID's, but how can they confiscate your legal ID?

    @samethingwedoeverynightpinky:Evidently she was inside the club when a bouncer spotted her, didn't recognize her, but thought she looked young. Carded her and kicked her out. This was in Suffern, NY. Sounds like they weren't carding at the door. I agree that there was no reason to confiscate a legitimate ID. But she was already in the club.

    @samethingwedoeverynightpinky: Exactly what I was thinking. If they took her real ID off her and wouldn't give it back she was right to call the cops.


    I was wondering if they were like "Yeah right, if your Hayden Panettiere I'm a Yeti!" and then when the police got there and made them give it back she was like "Suck on that Yeti!"
