    @Francie Nolan: I really, really wish they could apply this principle to product development. Have you ever struggled to watch your parent or an older person try to figure this whole technology thing out? My father can't even reply to an email. He would pay big money for something he could use rather than just be frustrated by. There's a market for user friendly products, but making something pink, sparkly, and purse-shaped isn't the answer.

    @save jinger: Nah. You just don't spend enough time on LJ.

    (Srsly, some of those bishes are baaaad. They start talking about multi-level import code that can be read on multi-lingual toggle screens (lots of girls in the groups I watch are at least trilingual) and even the helpdesk is like "Bzuh?" and meanwhile their screens are all sparkly, fooling everyone ...)

    I better not say anything else though. They'll have someone sent to break some of my digits for breaking omertà, or suchlike. And if they can't prove I did it, they'll make something up. So save this post if you don't see me here again before Monday.
