    I'm actually torn about Dell'Orefice's dress. Not the dress per se, but the dress on her. Gorgeous as she is, the sleeve length doesn't seem age-appropriate. I think that a three-quarter or full-length sleeve would be a lot more flattering for someone as fair-skinned as she.


    Yep. There's such a thing as age-appropriate, for hemlines and sleeve lengths and heel height, too.


    (I also get grossed out by 75 year old men in speedos and Jack Nicholson wearing almost anything, so don't get all "OMG GIRL ON GIRL HATE CRIME" on me, kthx.)

    @♥ dosido☮: i kinda see where you are going, but it's not like she's wearing spaghetti straps or a strapless bustier. i can think of people a lot younger than her who might wear more 'age-appropriate' clothing and look like crap standing next to her in that dress in that picture.


    if we're going to mention things, shock! horror! she's wearing black hosiery with open-toed shoes! nobody notices because the woman is that stunning.

    @♥ dosido☮: But open-toed shoes, or even chunky sandals, with stockings have been seen on the most fashionable for the last year at least. Seriously, if fashion designers are actually sending sandals with built-in socks down the runway, it's probably time to give up that particular fight.

    @greenteaparty: Yeah, I coudn't find anything wrong with them. Maybe the light makes them look a bit paler than the rest of her exposed skin? I don't think she's wearing light stockings, which could possibly look tacky...

    @musicpup: homeward bound: I think that only she can get away with that weird lenghth (sp?) I would wear it a bit shorter. She looks exquisite.
