@HuckleberryFriend: I was about to say something about that episode but you beat me to it! I still watch Seinfeld reruns, yes. Better than most current sitcoms on TV.
@VioletBeauregarde: Party Pooper Extraordinaire: You get a shiny red heart. It's my favorite movie. Robert Downey Jr. is such a total heartbreaking babe in it, too, as is Tobey Maguire.
@thePrototype: if you want to look at it that way. but in my opinion there's a huge scape of what could be deemed normal sized.
as it is, i think that being called plus sized is the equivalent of being called abnormal, and that's solely because of the negative connotations that go along with this whole "not thin" definition.
so, in that light, it seems to be that one type of body will inevitably be deemed abnormal, whilst simultaneously deeming another type normal.
and in all reality, i just think normalcy has more to with majority. i don't know this for sure, but i'd be willing to bet that the numbers are in the "plus-sized" folks favor. when you take that into context, other body sizes would be abnormal, and not in a negative connotation, as i've indicated above, in reference to "not-thin" defined.
@birminghamdrunk: Except calling it normal implies that anything that is not that size is abnormal. Also, calling it average implies that anything not that size is above or below average. Let's just call them SIZES. That would be revolutionary.
@Vivelafat says Sweep the leg, Johnny.: OMG, what are you saying??? That people come in many different sizes and that we don't need questionable terms with which to label them?!? That we can just use the already existing numerical system??? But, but, but, then won't everyone have to shop all together in the same stores and departments?!?!?
Madness, I say! Cats and dogs, living together! Are you trying to end life as we know it???
@TheGuvnah: Why would she want to hide it? If I were her, I'd go around pretending that I didn't know what Sex and the City is. I'd just say, actually I was in Mannequin. And Ice Princess.
I am sure it is interesting, but I cannot watch the video, as I would only be disappointed when it turns out to not be a clip from Mannequin, the greatest movie ever created, and the only comfort to fifth grade lil(er)bobbytables when she was home sick.
@lilbobbytables: LOVED that movie as a kid. I thought Andrew McCarthy was dreamy, and I always looked at mannequins differently afterward. I thought they might really come to life!
@save jinger: thank buddha i wasn't the only one to be totally in little girl lust with andrew mccarthy - even his voice squeaking was so endearing to me.

perhaps, it is just an eye of the beholder issue.

The fact she was in the Britney movie, now that's not a source of resume pride.

And SHE was the holdout for the original SATC movie? Cause the other work she was doing was so prominent and successful? Strange.
