<![CDATA[Crows And Bacon And DJ Lance Rock, Oh My! A Roundup Of Celebrity Halloween Costumes]]> Celebrities, both with and without their children, were out in full force last night, showing off their fancy pants Halloween costumes to the world. Ahead, a roundup of the most notable costumes of the night.

Kelly Osbourne and Luke Worrell as Bacon and Eggs: Yes, I know this combo costume has been done to death, but these two are so cute that it totally works. They look warm and happy. And how fun is Kelly's bow?

The Stefani-Rossdale Crew Gwen and the boys, Zuma and Kingston, look adorable, but Gavin totally blows it by not bothering to wear a costume. Unless, of course, he's one of those people who says things like, "I'm Captain Holey Jeans," to explain his lack of Halloween gear. But still. Come on, dude.

Brooke Shields: Her daughters are clearly an angel (or a butterfly?) and a mermaid, but I'm not sure what Brooke is dressed as. Any guesses?

The Pitt-Jolie Crew: I'm not sure what Angelina is dressed as, but Brad is clearly dressed as DJ Lance Rock from Yo Gabba Gabba, which is beyond awesome.

LaToya Jackson: I'll admit that I'm not quite sure what LaToya Jackson is supposed to be, but she did spend her Halloween night raising money for "AIDS Project LA" by posing with impersonators of her late brother, Michael, which is simultaneously sweet and creepy, though I guess the fact that it was all for a good cause moves it more into the sweet column.

Heidi Klum Heidi, who is somewhat known for her love of elaborate Halloween costumes, ended up going as "a black crow," as did her husband, Seal.

Christina Aguilera and her son, Max, wore matching skeleton suits. Very cute!

Christina Ricci and her boyfriend, Curtis Buchanan, did the mime thing, and quite well.

Paul Rudd and his son, Jack, apparently went as adorable for Halloween.

James Gandolfini, meanwhile, put on his best Homer Simpson disguise.

Ice-T and Coco Coco decided to go devilish...

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon while Mariah and Nick decided to be angelic.

Gene Simmons And finally, Gene Simmons went as, well, Gene Simmons.

<![CDATA[Frances Cobain Lashes Out At Ali Lohan; Brad & Jen's "Secret" Meeting]]>

  • Frances Bean Cobain has written an open letter to Ali Lohan. Would you like to know what it says? Here goes — and consider it to be [sic]-filled:

"This is my open letter to Ali Lohan.
Your not entitled to anything simply because your sister has a recognizable name. Your idea of fame isn't fame. It's infamy. You want to be famous? Work your ass off and make decisions that could potentially catapult your career into a lasting one. Notariety for who you are and notaritey for the work you produce are two completely differnt things. I understand that you have been brought up in an envirtoment where the idea of fame is easily achievable but, that's not an excuse. You lack the talent, social understanding and credibility to be anything other then infamous. Your careere choices, thus far, will transcend a future career as someone who attempted to be famous, but never quite achieved it. And if you do, it will be the formality of fame that puts you on the covers of tabloids, while the public idly watches you plumit into the murky abyss shared with the likes of Spencer Pratt & Jon Gosslin who, i'm sure, will steal your money whilst there. Fortunately for the world, there are people who have and don't have recognizable names, who have obtained artistic integrity and will one day, hopefully, bring that tangible artisticness into light again. Though, its hard to think thats achievable when people like You ali lohan are rendering the world of true talent by attempting to make your entitled ass noticed. How is this fair to the people who HAVE artistic integrity, or a mind? How is it fair to those who truly have something to offer the human race other then a dwindling last name and a few shitty films, both of which, solidified the idea that your just a celebrities sibling. I recognize that i might come across as harsh and no, i don't personally know you, but its the actions that you take, that speak for you. You blatently don't care how your recognized, its the objective to get famous and that is what makes you replaceable and a recycled idea .Well, im ashamed to have to be grouped into the same category of person as you. I would rather die a most painful death the be assoicated with the kind of careere your trying to make for your self. I hope i'm wrong because generally i'm not a very judgmental person, but in the case of you, that is MY entitlement." Phew! …And scene. [ONTD]

I don't think anybody saw Adventureland, but they marketed it as a big comedy, so I get sent these really shitty scripts that I think people assume that was like. So many scripts where people are having sex with each other. Every script starts off with sex… [With Zombieland…they were nervous to hire me because I'm not famous. There were other more famous people who were auditioning for it. I think the main reason I got into it was because Sony really likes Greg Mottola, who directed Adventureland, so he vouched for me, because he directed their biggest movie in the last several years, Superbad. — Jesse Eisenberg. [BlackBook]
  • "Guns seem dumb. I felt bad holding guns because I don't know what influence it has on people watching movies. You can make the argument that it lets people take out their aggression so they don't do it in real life. I don't go to nightclubs, I don't go to nice restaurants. There's no perk that can be had aside from getting a slice of pizza at interviews. But you could. People really could exploit it. I haven't been single for 7 years, but I know people who are maybe my level of attractiveness or less and they can have sex quite often… That's great, because then they'll tell me about it." — Jesse Eisenberg. Philo had intended to show her first collection for the French label via a presentation at Paris fashion week this March, and to follow with a runway show in October. But sources say a team has been put in charge of the presentation collection. A company spokesperson gave this cagey response: “Phoebe's debut show will be in October, as has always been planned and we are as excited as ever for Celine's partnership with Phoebe Philo.” [Vogue.co.uk]
  • Do designers think sober, dependable menswear is recession-proof? Matthew Williamson, Carlos Miele, Gareth Pugh, Christophe Decarnin, Roland Mouret, and, now, Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi, who are the duo put in charge of Gianfranco Ferre less than a year ago, are all debuting collections for persons of the male persuasion. [Fashionista]

"You don't want to be like, 'Damn, I wish I didn't buy that $8,000 jacket,'" said the star, who wore a $100 suit from Bangkok. Coco's solution? Wear less. "My wife — everybody knows Coco likes to show her body, but I tell her all the time, 'If everybody looked like you, they'd be walking around naked. You're lucky.' And she's like, 'I just want to be nude.' And I'm like, 'Yeah, because you look good.'" True love, people. [The Cut]
  • Will the first daughters wear a namby-pamby cheese-eatin' cafe-au-lait-drinkin' surrender-monkeyin' French label at the inauguration? Or will they wear good, honest, 'Merican clothes spun of pure hope and freedom fibers, woven on a liberty loom? Froggy kid's label Bonpoint sent the Obama family some outfits for Sasha and Malia, but the fact that they're willing to give details of the garments seems to indicate interest was underwhelming. [WWD]
  • Robin Givhan's reader contest for a Michelle Obama inaugural gown has yielded a winner, in the form of Katie Ermilio, a 23-year-old up-and-coming designer from Philadelphia who has previously dressed Julianne Hough of Dancing With The Stars. At the site, you can see Ermilio's deep green dress with a draped, criss-crossed bodice, along with all all the other submitted designs. Some labor under, as Givhan writes, a misimpression that "the 44-year-old, physically fit lawyer who will soon be first lady would like to look like a 70-something mother-of-the-bride on Jan. 20." <![CDATA[Celebrity Family Feud: Ice-T Vs. Joan Rivers]]> Celebrity Family Feud debuted last night and it was awesome. My sister and I used to come home from swimming lessons in the summer and watch the back-to-back block of Family Feud and The Price Is Right, so this new trend of game shows returning to prime time is more than welcome. Last night it was Ice-T's family vs. Joan Rivers', and of course, many of the answers were sexual in nature. (The first answer out of Ice-T's mouth was "penis.") The second half of the show was Raven-Symoné's family vs. Wayne Newton's family. Now, I think it's wonderful that someone with a normal body like Raven's is a role model for little girls, but she's also an example of how the studio tutoring system is failing young stars. Survey says: she's not the sharpest knife in the drawer! Clip above.

P.S. Ice-T's son Ice Jr. is gorgeous.

I found that out talking to an engineer. Britney apparently isn't actually the worst singer, she just has no feel. So they bring in this older black woman who sings the song, then Britney sings to it, and they kind of make a mix of the two voices, and that's what you hear on the records." [Dlisted]
